I don't think many people have heard of Peggle Nights. But, let me just tell you...
Peggle is a downloadable PC game. I found out it while looking for some new games to play. Why? I was bored of the others. Oh, screw it. Let's get on with the review.
Gameplay: You play with a master in a level. In Adventure, there are 5 levels for each master. You have to shoot all the red pegs, which finishes the level. They call it "Extreme Fever". If you clear ALL the pegs, you get ULTRA Extreme Fever. At the end, you get bonus points, which could be 10,000, 50,000 and 100,000. During ultra, its always 100000. 10/10
Masters: Well, there are 10 masters brought back from the previous game. They are: Bjorn Unicorn, Jimmy Lightning, Renfield Pumpkin, Master Hu, Splork, Lord Cinderbottom, Kat Tut, Tula, Claude and Warren Rabbit. In this game, there is a new master called Marina. They are all very creative and have good powerups. 10/10
Powerups: Each master has a special powerup. Super Guide, Multiball, Pyramid Power, Space Blast, Flippers, Spooky Ball, Flower Power, Lucky Spin, Fireball, Zen Ball and Thunderbolt. I don't really have time to tell you about all of them. Yet still, they're brilliant. 10/10
Story: Now this is what I'm talking about. So, each master says their downfall and transforms into the exact opposite of what they are. Like the master is someone at the circus, a tourist or even a rock star. If you can get past all the master's tests, you play the master levels. According to Marina, you'd have to be the most skillful, insane squid in the sea! When you complete it, you get a trophy! Also, there is a score that was set up by the staff that you had to beat to get the ACE trophy. Clear all the pegs on every level and you get the 100% trophy. 10/10
Quick Play: You can play this in order to get your ACE and 100% trophies or go back to a level you really like. Awesome. 10/10
Duel: This is the two player game. It varies from the other modes. You can play with a friend or against a computer. You have 6 balls instead of the regular 10. You have to get more points than your opponent. It is very difficult and complicated yet it is still brilliant. 10/10
Challenge: Now it gets tough. If you've completed Adventure Mode, you are a Peggle Master. Now, try and become a Peggle GRAND Master. They all have tasks, such as trying to get 750000 points on a level, playing against a certain CPU difficulty opponent in Duel or playing multiple levels in a row. It's tough, yet fair. 10/10
Well, this is one of the best games I know of. It's up with Super Smash Bros Brawl, Mario Party 8 and many more. This is the best downloadable PC game in the world. Overall, 50/50.
