I'm quite surprised there's no topic about the game it's self! :p It's my favourite game of all-time! I love the battle system, I love the different partners and it's so polished. There is an unbelievable amount of stuff to do and it's hard to believe that a game as large as this could be made in such a small amount of time, with limited technology.

Of course, my favourite partners are Yoshi kid and Vivian. My favourate chapter is actually chapter two because of the peaceful music which is probably the only piece of music in the Mario series which makes me quite emotional. - Probably intensified due having to leave the adorable punies at the end of chapter 2. I seriously want one of those as a pet. :p It's a shame they didn't return in another game as there's no reason why they couldn't leave Boggly Woods once in a while.

So yeah, feel free to talk about anything in the game!

Why haven't I posted here yet? :p

I LOVE this game to death, it has an awesome battle system, great partners (with good personality; I love Goombella is so sassy XD), wonderful music, lots of originality and a great story.

Since Superguarding was introduced, it pretty much changed everything to me so I barely raised HP. I mainly put my focus into BP. :p
I only raised my HP once at the beginning of the game, but then I only raised it once or twice again in the final chapter. My FP wasn't that high either, but I still swept through the enemies and bosses with almost no difficulties. xD
I've always done the pit of 100 trials successfully.
Speaking of the Pit of 100 trials, I've found 4 Amazee Dayzees through there everytime I do it. And there's usually one battle where there's 2 at once, so I just use Art Attack or Supernova (preferably Art Attack since it's less SP) and I get LOTS of Star Points. XD

I actually have 3 favorite characters; Yoshi, Goombella and Vivian. Yoshi & Goombella are really good if you boost their attack power (through badges) and just 2 power boosting badges makes a huge difference. When they are ultra ranked, and have 2 Power Plus badges, Yoshi's Ground Pound/Stampede does 9 damage (It goes 3,2,1,1,1,1) and his Mini-Egg does 12 damage. Goombella's attack power does a whopping 10 damage (5 damage per headbonk) when she is ultra ranked and has 2 Power Plus badges. (This is assuming the enemy's defense is 0 :p)

Reason I like Vivian is because I felt SO bad for her since Beldam was so rude to her. On top of that, she sets her enemies on fire. Fiery Jinx is just so broken. :p (pierces defense, hits everyone and makes them catch on fire. How amazing is that? XD)
Though I guess they kind of stopped her from being too broken since some enemies are immune to fire (Buzzy Beetles, Clefts, etc.) or using fire would literally backfire on you (Bulky Bob-Ombs :p).

My favorite places are Keelhaul Key; I love the theme and the haunted feeling. My other favorite place is Palace of Shadow, since it's the final area and it's a challenge there with all the bosses.

This is the game that made me think up of the nickname Yosher. I came up to Chapter 3 and had Yoshi hatch, and I just couldn't think of a name for him, up until I came up with the name you see now and it's stuck to me ever since and have been using it as a nickname for every game and my Mii as well.

This is most definetely the best game in the Paper Mario series so far. The setting, the partners, the bosses, the music, EVERYTHING about it was just right. ..the only thing that I would have liked to be added was a place inhabited with Yoshis, or at least some more roaming around, but hey, can't have everything I guess. XP My favourite chapter was the third one. Reasons should be obvious!

The thousand year door was my favourite in the series! It was the first I played, and as a kid playing this, I was so immersed in the game and it's characters, when I finished playing I'd start again!

I still call Flurrie "McFlurry" (Like the Ice Cream at McDonalds) Since I first got the game XD

Chapter 3 was actually my most hated one; those battling conditions... Just no. I want my freedom of battling. :p I especially hated "No FP" and "Let your enemy damage you 3 or 5 times!".
At least the Green fuzzies there can help you get a level up; I just let them multiply. :p
Also you can't get potentially get any items from enemies, and the whole chain e-mail thing... Oh god. That was really annoying.

The battle conditions were actually pretty fun, they gave the battles more of a challenge since sometimes it could actually make things a little more challenging, especially if that 'No FP' condition would come into play. It woulda been too easy without that!
I also liked the chain e-mail thing, too. Probably because I liked the ringtones you would hear, and being eager to find out who the mystery man was in the end!

I know that was Jolene, I just didn't put mystery girl there because that might've made it obvious for those who haven't played it yet.

The battle conditions were more annoying than fun for me; I mainly focus on BP and having any condition prevent the use of Jump/FP or having to make me take damage just ruined my badge setup and my chance to just sweep through the enemies. Also hearing that ringtone like every 5 minutes just annoyed me too. :p

At least Chapter 3 gives you one of the best (if not, the best) Special Moves in the game; Power Lift. That move is amazing and my goal is to always at least get a +2 for power. Defense I don't focus on those arrows too much, unless if it's the Magnus Von Grapple 2.0 battle. :p

Though I remember getting a +4 for power, and with Mario & my partner having a whopping +6 attack (+7 for Mario actually; I give him the Jumpman, and 2 Power Plus badges and my partner 2 Power Plus badges :p), having Mario with the Ultra Boots and all my partners being upgraded twice, I defeated the Beldam/Marilyn/Doopliss trio in literally 2 turns. Yoshi's Stampede did 21 damage to all of them, then the 2nd turn I had Mario Multibounce them all (for a damn 10 damage on each of them) and Yoshi follow up with another Stampede. The Multibounce wasn't necessary, but I wanted Mario to get some spotlight and I was gonna level up anyway. :p

Lesson: Even boosting your attack (with badges) by a +1 will do so many wonders. Ideally, go for a +2 at least (with Power Plus badges, I personally don't use D-Down D-Up but I do use Jumpman for Mario :p) since many enemies have at least 9 HP. Power Lift sets that icing on the cake.
...Yeah, I'm pretty much a Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door nerd. :p
