Nintendo Developers Warned of a Future With No More Zelda, Star Fox Games

From Luke Plunkett:

At Nintendo's Q&A session earlier today, Zelda creator Shigeru Miyamoto revealed that prior to development of the upcoming Skyward Sword, he'd given the franchise team a warning: either it was the best Zelda ever made or there would be no more Zeldas.

He also said the same thing to the Star Fox developers. Either Star Fox 3DS is the best one ever, or no more Star Fox games. Both franchises would go back in the box.

Rather extreme threats (and, to be fair, he surely couldn't have been serious), but sometimes if you want the best out of your troops then you need more stick than you do carrot!"

Nintendo developers were recently warned by Shigeru Miyamoto. This could mean the end of Zelda and Star Fox. If this happens, then that means no more Zelda (shocking news to Berry) and no more Star Fox. The Nintendo developers better be careful.

I hope Zelda and Star Fox keep it going, and not stop.

I can understand Star Fox. But Legend of Zelda? C'MON NOW! Shigeru is just pulling our strings!

The only good Star Fox was 64. So whatever.

And Zelda is overrated so I don't care. :p

Most of Nintendo's whole team worked on Skyward Sword for 5 years and after that they quit Zelda?! There's no way that's happening. If that were the case they would've stopped after Ocarina of Time. I don't care about StarFox but Zelda needs to continue just like Mario does since it's one of their major series.
