Nintendo Clash RPG (Sign-ups)

This is a new RPG I'll be setting up.  Here are all the rules and whatnot.

8 people can sign up
You can be any nintendo character
Each character has a special trademark, speed (go fist every turn), power (attacks do 10% more damage) or defense (opponents attack does 10% less damage).
This will be a tournament bracket with randomized matches
I will be creating movesets based on the character
Everyone starts with 300 HP and 100 MP

NEW EDIT: 12 people can now sign up.  If more want to I will make more room

1. Toblet- Rosalina
2. AntiGuy- Koopa
3. Ness and Lucas- Ness
4. Sax- Samus
5. Gameguy- Mario
6. Toadette- Toadette
7. Aegis-Squall Leonhart
8. Wobbufett-Wobbufett

Match 1: Ness VS Wobbufett Winner:

Sorry for lack of details

Everyone has 4 attacks

weak attack- 10 damage
normal attack- 20 damage-uses 10 MP
strong attack- 50 damage-uses 30 MP EDIT: 40 MP

and the Iwata Attack, which can be used once you take at least 150 damage.  Does 100 damage and heals 50

When I say "movesets" I mean moves that fit characters.
Like Mario's weak would be a fireball, and Ness' Iwata would be PK Starstorm

By "random fight" I mean I will randomize who fights who

EDIT: I'm changing the strong attack to 40 MP, for cheapness reasons
 
Next time you add a huge description like that, add it to your first post so it's easier to find. I like the idea of it but wouldn't it be a bit unfair? Like the first person to move always wins? You have basically the same moveset that you can spam over and over. I find it difficult to see how it would be a fair match.

Remember, there is MP too, so you have to stratagize how you use you MP, and account for abilities.  The reason everyone has same attacks is so nobody is overpowered.

Honestly this is sort of a test run, I've never done something like this, so if this doesn't work I'll change some stuff and try again.  It all matters how this one goes.
 
Uh, Final Fantasy originated on the NES. It's just mostly viewed as a Sony platform now. So techincally, I should be accepted.
 
Well that's stupid then. So Kirby shouldn't be allowed in the RPG because he was developed by Intelligent Systems, not Nintendo. Or Pokemon shouldn't be allowed because they were developed by Game Freak, not Nintendo. God, you guys are picky.
