Wierd names those Toads have. Maybe they play a specific Role.
No, those names arent real. They were just user-submitted names and IGN just did sort of a feature on why they chose Toads as the otehr characters.
Now that's a very odd name for a Toad. IIRC Toad always had Toad in its name (Toadette, Toadsworth, Toadbert, Toadika).

does anybody else think that this is more of a new super mario world? I mean there is yoshi (he runs away when he gets hit). and there are the koopa kids. Hey maybe the baby yoshi and Cape will be back
a bit, the koopalings are likely to be there to replace some of the bosses. Bowser Jr. is fought too many times in NSMB.
I agree. It's good to see more bosses. And they have different ways of defeating Mario. i.e instead of trying to jump on Bowser Jr. every time, you have to hit Morton with a shell and do something else to him.

I beleive that this game could have been a lot better on the DS, but I guess a Super Mario Bros game with Wii graphics couldn't hurt. I hope the Toads would be playable in single player mode and not just in multiplayer.

Yup, it's real. It's coming out in November 2009, so we can expect commericals in a week. This is also the first Mario game with 4 player control. The characters are :mario: , :luigi: , Yellow :toad: , and Blue :toad: . And now, for the first time ever, you can ride on... :yoshi: . What new items do you think'll come out on NSMBW?
