New SSB Announced

LOS ANGELES--The Super Smash Bros. series has been dormant since 2008's well-received Super Smash Bros: Brawl, but now the fighting franchise is leaping back to life.


Everyone clap your hands, a new Smash Bros. game is coming.
During Nintendo's E3 2011 media briefing this morning, the gaming giant announced that a new Super Smash Bros. game is currently in development.

Nintendo did not offer much in the way of detail relating to the new game, but did note that the title is currently being created for the just-announced WiiU and 3DS. Additionally, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata said both games will work together on both platforms "in some fashion."

I don't think it's that "Super Smash Bros Strife" thing, but it's interesting that there's going to be another SSB on the WiiU AND the 3DS. (I heard it at the E3 conference) What do you expect to happen on the new SSB? I expect probably something like Brawl (since I heard casuals like that game, apparently ) and maybe some new characters, like Toad or maybe some new 3rd parties. That's just my opinion anyway. How about you, what do you think about all this?

Strangely enough, there was a logo underneath MP9's that looked like Super Mario Fighter or sth with the Super in SSB font. :/

I don't want more Sonic either, but Sonic and Tails should be enough. Just those two heroes and that's enough.
