Nelson Mandela Dies

Last Thursday one of the greatest people to ever live passed away.
He did some amazing things for his country.

Obama said some great things at the funeral.

I did get a little choked up. My Dad told me about it and I watched the news coverage. I was just getting to this point in history and the central benevolent figure behind that era, gone. Hearing what I could of Obama's speech, I tried to imagine the impact such a thing would have-What he did and all of these people coming together. It's so touching.

Very sad event he served South Africa well. Obama said great things about him and Mandela did some great things
