My mom's having surgery on Friday...

So mom has been in and out of the hospital several times this month. The doctors thought she had cancer, but they recently found some contradictory evidence, and they decided that the surgery date will be on Friday. So i won't be active on Friday or the few weeks afterwards, because i'll be helping my sister around the house while mom is down. I'm really sorry about this, guys!

@wacky: Actually, it's good news. She might just have a few tumors and a stomach ulcer, and if she does have cancer, the tumors are all benign, meaning that they won't be spreading anytime soon and thus can easily be removed by surgery.

Okay, scenario update. Mom was admitted into the hospital a little early today. I just got finished cleaning the house a bit, and while i couldn't go with mom to support her, i'll still be very busy with other things. Besides, a promise is a promise!

Update. Turns out mom does have cancer, and it's a really severe form of cancer. The good news is that there's a temporary cure in Seattle that will kill the cancer at least for 4 years. I'm temporary returning since my birthday is somewhat close and i wanna celebrate it with a few buds instead of celebrating it alone.
