No, what you do, is you have him join, but don't tell anyone, so everyone will see him acting on his own. If you have him say he's related to you everyone will right away just think...well you know bad things.

Siblings are annoying, but my only advice is that you have to hang through it. What you live through can only make you stronger, all have immature phases that they may grow out of, it may take a while, but mate, you have to deal with it unfortunately.
I say watch some Super Nanny with your mother, and most important, give him some discipline!!! It's not going to be fun if his habits continue when he's a lot older.
