You might as well make videos of like actual online footage or something, that might get someone's attention who actually might potentially have a life cause anyone who's watches CPUs play Brawl on YouTube needs to get a new hobby.

And this isn't an activity. This is just a "I'll take a purple Mario". Like that's all that's needed here. As well as the power of chance in tournament style.

1. So I guess you're basically saying "Anyone who wants CPUs to play Brawl has no life", hmm?
2. The same thing can be said for the Lottery, and it was successful in getting members to join it.
3. I don't see any harm this is causing anyone, and don't see the problem.

1. Yes. It is really really really pathetic to have people join a tournament that has CPUs battling each other instead of getting their lazyasses up and battling themselves. It's not an actual tournament if there are no actual players.

2. Lottery is totally different.

3. It's more of the fact that it basically says something about our forum, in which are are disorganized with actual tournaments or we're just too stupid to organize one.

1. It's more of a gambling/betting sort of thing, like you try to bet on the winner. Maybe tourney is the wrong word, but it has the style.

3. ...? I didn't make this due to disfunction or difficulty with the other planned tourney, I made this so everyone has a chance of winning, so no one feels bad like "oh... I'm not good enough" and they just hope they win.

But I'm not closing it, I understand your opinions Cook and Aegis, and I see what you're saying, but I'm still going to run them. Like, even if it's considered worthless :)P) to you guys, others like it. So it's cool.
 
It took some intense advertising and bumping of this topic to get 8 people to join, that's not a success. And a Lottery is a freakin lottery, if anything this is a terrible rip-off. You know anyone can go out and say "I'm going to go make a Mario Party tourney" where there are 4 CPUs playing. This whole shenanigan has no originality nor reason to be something big enough that you have to put it in the news feed to get people to join.

Like if more than 2 people are having actual fun doing this should speak up. And this isn't really an elite list of people joining this either. Anybody could've just come into this topic saying "Mario purple" or whatever but there's a reason why over half the members did not.

1. "Intense Advertising and Bumping", explain. I put it on the news once, and the topic was only bumped when people wanted to join. Otherwise, I wasn't like "JOIN THE TOURNEY!!!11" intensely, as you say.
2. Rip-off of what? The lottery? FYI, I didn't get this idea from your "lottery".

4. "Elite list", all members/staff are the same Cook, there's no "elite" member.
5. You already made your point; you don't like this, I get it. But you're not going to change my opinion on this, as I don't expect to change yours either. Just leave it at that, and that's it.

With Lottery, you expect just a game of chance.

I don't think people think of Brawl tournaments as "watching CPUs beating the crap out of each other."
 
Sorry about the quadruple post, but now that I think about it, everyone here has wi-fi right? If everyone does have wi-fi, maybe we could've actually fought each other on wi-fi. Then it would actually be considered a tourney(or whatever you wanna call it). Wolf can tell us the rules(like the stages, no items, etc.) and we can keep track of the results. Maybe we should do it this way next time(if there is a tourney next time)

OK, here's what I have to say to you.

1. You're just mad at the prize of post count.
2. Thanks for repeating what Cook already said. +1.
3. Same can be said for others things like the lottery, don't have to do anything to get posts from that.
4. Name might be misleading, but I say "tourney" cuz it has a tourney bracket style. It can be considered more of a gambling game though, might change name next time.

Oh yay! Lucas won! But Columbo, it doesn't hurt to try things again. I think we should give the tourney(the wi-fi one) another shot. I'm sure more people would participate and more fun.

There's already one going, Matt and Me partnered and made a league, but it's not a tourney, but it's like w/e, since no one here really plays brawl much now cuz of school and stuff. I might try in the future, but as of now, I'll do more of these. Thank you everyone for joining! Sign Ups for a 2nd one will be up in March, I'll revealed what direction I'm going next with this and stuff. Also, name change is a MUST, since this is like a gambling thing, what's a good name?
