Mountains

Do you live near any mountains? Where are the closest mountains? Do you enjoy them? Hike 'em?

For me, yes! They literally surround me. It's called the Valley of the Sun for a reason.

Kind-of, but not quite. They are off in the distance, though. But I do live within the mountains when I go to Lake Tahoe. Mountains everywhere there.

I don't think I live close to any mountains. I do enjoy them and I love hiking up mountains though.

It would be strange if I said no since I'm skiing on one every weekend or so (during the winter, of course).

...that's actually kind-of true, though, as the nearest one is about 1hr. away by vehicle, and the mountain I ski on is about 2hrs. away, although we do have a place up there, so in a way, I live right beside the mountains at times, and at others I live close them.

...If I had the cash to get a home, I could even be living on the mountain if I felt like it.

Did I forget to mention about hiking?

I do hike on the mountains, like, everywhere in Lake Tahoe, I think. There's this one hike that goes to the up to the mountaintop where a small house is found, overlooking the lake of Lake Tahoe. Heck, I once hiked down from the top of Squaw Peak. Yup, the same place where Winter Olympics were held in 1960. That hike was brutal, took like four hours.

Mountains? Bronx? Not really. I mean there's some mountains north from where I live, about 30 minutes away, but NYC is not known for its mountains lol

Dix Hills on LI I call mountains because the rich folks be having mansions at the apex of the town

I live by the Poconos, which are really nice all year long. It's cool to go there and stay there.
