Mother's Day (2014)

Today, Sunday, May 11, 2014, is Mother's Day in the United States. What are you doing (or already did) today for your mother?

We already went out for breakfast for the family. My family also went to the cemetery to visit their deceased mothers (except me, I was a bit sick). We also going to have a nice dinner tonight with the usual Sunday people, only this time, my mother is not cooking!

Well, for my mom we had a fancy lunch and got her a mini Keurig. It was pretty awesome.

We had a special breakfast and Mother's portion at our church service, but lately, we've been postponing the holiday because Mom always has field trips to prepare for the following week.

Took my mom out to eat! GIRL, the lines were so damn long and the establishment was packed so me and my mom decided to go to the other buffet down the block. Somehow my mom worked voodoo magic and got us to a table quickly although I was on the long line for us.

My family went to Sunday mass, and all mothers received flowers (one for every kid they had, and some old lady had at least 8 flowers.) Later, had dinner at a nice steakhouse. It was packed. Very packed... That's basically it.

Spent the morning working, then playing games by myself.
After my family arrived home from when they left the day before, other relatives came over, they brought their dogs, and we watched my puppy play with them all. Not sure if he got them mad or something though.

...also gave my mother a gift and a card.
