Most Consecutive Hits

Out of all of the Super Smash Bros games what is your record for most consecutive hits?
The most consecutive hits I have ever made were 50 by using Peach's B + UP attack.

999 with Fox and Kirby, I believe. It's been done, and it's easy to pull off.

1000+ with Mewtwo. My friend showed me a really easy way to get consecutive hits.

This. I did it with Kirby against (?)Snake on Shadow Moses Island, from memory.
