Hi there, Tom at Nintendo here at the Nintendo of America office. Are you ready for E3? All week, we've been busy with a lot of Miiverse and Wii U updates, but now I'm putting on my E3 hat! If you aren't aware, here's what's going down in the next week: Just now - as you can see the E3 2014 Community is now live! The main community if for everyone who can post to Miiverse to share their thoughts and excitement about our announcements. We also opened this announcement community, and as the name suggests, we'll be posting game news, videos and events as they're about to happen from now throughout the show. Next Tuesday 6/10 at 9am PT / 12pm ET, we will be broadcasting our Digital Event video where we will be breaking news about our latest games for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Immediately after, there will be the live post-show Nintendo Minute: Live@E3 where the hosts will recap the Digital Event with even more info. From 4pm also on 6/10, we will be hosting the Super Smash Bros. Invitational tournament. The event will be live streamed on our Twitch channel. If that's not enough, all E3 long we'll have Nintendo Treehouse: Live @ E3 where we will be live streaming right from the show floor, to go in-depth about our latest games. You can watch all of this on our Twitch and YouTube channel, and of course and e3.nintendo.com. To help you get in the mood, check out e3.nintendo.com. The link's at the bottom of this post for web users, or click on the blue globe icon for Wii U/3DS users!

There has been a new update to Miiverse.

    1) We've reduced the amount of Yeahs which show up on your activity feed. However, you'll now see the full post for each Yeah, rather than just a few words.

    2) We've added an option to stop Yeahs from appearing in your activity feed. You'll find this option under User Page ⇒ User Menu ⇒ Miiverse Settings.

    3) We've updated the User Page for the web version of Miiverse, so it now matches the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions and includes your favourite handwritten post.

    4) We've added a feature that lets you embed a Miiverse post in a web page. Just open the web version of Miiverse, select a post and then click on "Embed this Post" to obtain the HTML code for embedding on your web page.

You can stop being notified about Yeahs, and you can embed posts onto websites and blogs.

There has been news on Miiverse that there will be a maintenance this Friday through Tuesday.
Here was the post that told it all:

"Hello, this is Julie, your Miiverse guide. We will be conducting an extended Miiverse maintenance scheduled from Friday 9/26 at 3PM through Tuesday 9/30 1AM Pacific Time. During this time, you may encounter some issues while trying to connect to Miiverse. If you receive an error message such as 121-1503, 015-5003, 115-5003, 015-4503, or 115-4503, please wait a while before trying to use the service again. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. More information is available on the Network Maintenance Information / Operational Status page on Nintendo.com’s Support page. To visit the page, click on the link below if you’re viewing this message from the web version, or click on the blue globe icon on the Internet Browser to access the information if you’re viewing this from your Wii U or Nintendo 3DS systems."

What are your thoughts of Miiverse having maintenance? Are you happy? Are you angry? Or do you just don't care? Leave your opinion of this maintenance in the comments.

(Don't worry, you will make through the maintenance.  :p)

Wrong board. Plus, topic wasn't necessary. We have the Miiverse topic for everything on Miiverse.

And I don't mind. I haven't made much posts on it lately, so it doesn't matter in the end for me. Whatever changes they make, or cleaning up ugly posts, I look forward to what there is after the maintenance, though I don't expect much.

You know, you need to start being more nice to members who make a minor mistake. You could have just linked to the other topics, not go and say that the topic "wasn't neccesary". Come on, son.

I hope they implement a feature where you can do both text and drawing. Trying to write words with my stylus is a pain.
