Miiverse updated once more. A small update, though. (Wednesday, May 15, 2013.)

- Adds the ability for users to add screenshots to their comments.
- Any user you've blocked will not be able to follow you.
- Automatically removes you from their follow list.

Sweet, adding screenshots through comments is now possible!

Now we are able to make actual posts from the web version of Miiverse. Also, the time restriction between posts has been reduced to 3. I kinda wish it only happened when you tried to post again in the same community. I hate posting in one community and then having to wait to post in another. At least if it's the same community, you could probably just put it as a comment to your post.

This topic should be in the general Nintendo board now.

Miiverse is coming to 3DS via a system update for 3DS coming later this month/early December!
Yay! Considering Swapnote was just discontinued, this is great timing.
Agreed. Although I will miss putting colour into my pictures that I created, or drawing on my images to make them cooler.  :-\

And update for Miiverse (Wednesday, November 27, 2013). It's also to prepare the 3DS update in December 2013.

There has been an update to Miiverse today.

This update is designed to prepare for the launch of Miiverse on Nintendo 3DS. Besides the existing communities for Wii U software, many new communities will be created for Nintendo 3DS software and even more users will join Miiverse. With this in mind, we have made the following changes to both the Wii U and web versions of Miiverse:

1. New display options in the community list
You can now display more communities at once, with the newest communities displayed first. You can also use a filter to display communities based on categories such as “Wii U software”, “Virtual Console” and so on.

2. A change to the profile page
Your profile no longer displays the total number of Yeahs you have given. However, you can still see the number of Yeahs on individual posts.

3. A change to the default display setting within a community
Until now, when you entered a community, the newest posts were displayed first. From now on, posts by people who have played the game will be displayed by default.

This was already announced in the latest Nintendo Direct, but I wanted to remind you that Miiverse is coming to Nintendo 3DS in December. Please note that a Nintendo Network ID is required to use Miiverse on Nintendo 3DS. If you already have a Nintendo Network ID on Wii U, you can continue using the same ID on your Nintendo 3DS. For more details, please visit the official Nintendo website.

Has anyone checked out the new look on Miiverse via Wii U? It looks really nice, they're preparing the 3DS version launch. Speaking of which, Nintendo says there will be some extended maintenance on Nintendo servers on Monday/Tuesday, and Emily Rogers reported that 3DS users should check out their system on Monday evening.

I am suspecting Miiverse for 3DS will be that update on Monday evening.

Reading this, I do pretty much think the same thing, with the Nintendo Network ID which will be able to be linked to the Nintendo 3DS as well, so most of the other features, I guess.

I just took a look over this myself and hardly noticed any difference actually, other than the main screen you first see upon entering Miiverse.
Oh well, I just want Miiverse on my 3DS now and merge my 2 accounts to get $10 more on my 3DS. :p

...which reminds me - wasn't that said to happen on the 5th? Maybe I'm just making things up here, but for some reason I keep thinking that's the date...
