Just like the first game had a remake, then Mega Man 2 should also have one.

Things I'd like:

All gameplay elements from Mega Man 2

Playable characters:
Starter: Mega Man, Cut Man, Guts Man, Ice Man, Bomb Man, Fire Man, Elec Man, Time Man, Oil Man
Unlockable: Metal Man, Air Man, Bubble Man, Quick Man, Crash Man, Flash Man, Heat Man, Wood Man (defeat them with your default weapon to unlock them)
Mega (clear game on Hard)
DLC: Roll, Proto Man

Bosses:
All bosses from Mega Man 2
Fake versions of Mega Man and the Robot Masters from Powered Up 1 (give their weapon when defeated, for example Mega Man? gives you the Mega Buster)(appear on a defeated Robot Master's stage)
Copy Robot (appears on a defeated Robot Master's stage after Mega Man? and the fake Robot Masters are defeated)

Level editor
Challenges
Boss Rush
Unique gameplay elements for the Robot Masters of Mega Man 2
Difficulty select
Ultimate Levels (DLC)
Robot Masters, Roll, and Proto Man can acquire other Robot Masters' weapons (because of Boobeam Trap and Alien)
S upgrade for everyone (enables slide, unlocked by clearing game on Easy)
Unlockable Charge shots for everyone (unlocked by clearing game on Normal)

Release on 3DS and Vita

I think it would be better have the main playables be Mega Man, Roll, and Proto Man and them having costumes like in the first with some remenisant of enemies and characters from the series. Then have the Robot Masters from 1 be DLC while keeping the Robot Masters in 2 as NCPs. Would be strange to have Air Man fight himself. :/

That's what Mega Man?'s purpose is for, to appear in a Robot Master's own stage.

I would rather the Robot Masters stay where they are. They are evil, it would make more sense for the heroes to beat them and not fellow Robot Masters.

Then again, Dr. Light restored the 8 Robot Masters from Powered Up 1 back to normal, he could reprogram the Robot Masters from Mega Man 2.

I wouldn't mind the first 8 Masters helping out Mega, Roll, and Proto in defeat the second Masters, but I feel like the second Master have more charm being not playable as intimidating bosses.

Moving on:
I have an idea for the Giga Attacks of the Robot Masters of Mega Man 2

Metal: Throws a large Metal Blade that returns to him
Air: Fires tornadoes similar to Tornado Man's Tornado Blow, only with more tornadoes
Bubble: Traps the player in a bubble, player takes damage until he is freed by shooting the bubble
Quick: Laser appears from the ceiling
Crash: Fires drill at the player, stopped by shooting the drill
Flash: Nah, his Time Stopper works fine
Heat: Fires a charged Atomic Fire
Wood: Surrounds himself with Leaf Shield and charges at player, stopped by shooting the leaves
