May 1st
I can't really say that this day was particularly notable. I simply stayed home and watched over the dog and fed the chickens out back, and washed a few dishes. Again, nothing notable. Although we got a strange package from someone that contained a book and DVD about helping out with cancer.
May 2nd
We stopped by and visited my mother. She was in far better shape than from when we saw her last. I gave her a card or two that arrived in the mail for her to look at, and we talked a bit about our future should something happen prematurely. On the way home, we received a call from the hospital, which is where i learned about the Seattle cure. My hopes raised considerably before i retired for the day.

We visited my mother again. We were ready to head off to the hospital when we got a phone call from my father, saying that my computer was all fixed and ready to be shipped! When we stopped by, we saw that she had other people visiting her as well. She was starting her physical therapy, and they say that she'll be taken to a nursing home to help her out a little more. We decided to hang around and visit.

My, a lot happened today! To start off, we drove up to the mailbox before starting for the hospital to visit mom. I opened the mailbox and noticed a rather thick and wide package in the box. I took out the box and noticed that the paper had my name on it and a familiar mailing address. This resulted in going back for mom's laptop and getting it to her so she'd have something to do while she was at the hospital. Then when we arrived, an old friend of Shay's stopped by to visit too. When it came time for another one of mom's therapies, he suggested exploring a bit and i went with them. We stopped by the restaurant in the San Juan Lanes bowling alley (we all wanted to go bowling, but they had a tournament going on) and drove up to a rather scenic point in town. It was such a beautiful spot, and made me regret not bringing my camera along. After our fun in town, we drove back to the hospital and visited with mom again before heading home.

This is where me and my sister discussed my birthday. She said she couldn't be with me on my birthday, since she's heading back to California on the 22nd, but she said that i could have my party on the 21st, which was really sweet and considerate of her. We went shopping a bit and i picked out a cake mix and frosting for my birthday cake. Not much happened afterwards.
May 6th
I got to see my little brother and sister again. They went through their rooms and dug out what they didn't want and what they did want. Shay went out to buy more of her special bracelets and i got a sub from Subways. I really like that place, since they don't give me horrible stomach cramps like most fast food restaurants do. Driving lessons are supposed to be tomorrow. I'll have to drill myself on tests so i won't mess it up.
