It was for Japan, and Australia is getting this today.

And different characters other than Mario doesn't stop me from buying, just as long it's Mario-related. Then again, it's from Square Enix.

Why the hell does SE need to incorporate FF characters into every game they make?

It's getting very annoying.

Get the game now so we can play on Wifi! AS you know from that, I got the game! I've tried all sports and it's so far pretty good.
 
I am really disappointed that there are absolutely NO unlockable Mario characters at all. Instead we get Square Enix characters in a Mario game...  :p We could have gotten a lot more playable characters if Square characters weren't in it like Rosalina that was playable in 1 game only. Eventhough that is a huge disappointment I'm still getting the game since I like Mario sports games. Anyway what ever happened to Camelot making sports games with Nintendo?

I hate Slime, and I second Rosalina getting another spinoff shot.

Anyways, apparently Special Shots return. Are they activated in the same manner as in Hoops, or are there zany ways to use them? And which sports? (Special Shot in Dodgeball? lol...?)

I just hated how hoops represented nothing of a real basketball game with the force fields and ground pounds and stuff. I don't really expect these Mario sport games to be any better. I just like playing actual sport games more I guess.
