I think the tennis and golf games were made pretty good but the baseball and soccer ones (mainly the sequels) were really cheap and basketball was just horrendous. And this game looks like Mario Hoops so I really don't know how to feel about it, I'll try to expect the best and I'll probably buy it no matter what though.
I WANT IT!!!! Why do we have to wait another year??? However, it seems that the gameplay is well worth the wait.
Well the game is probably still being developed so we pretty much got an early look at the game. Besides Nintendo's got a bunch of games on their plate after E3 to put up, I think the wait it worth it with all the other games we're getting like DKC Returns before it.X.A.N.A said:

Golf is somewhat ok, but once you get out of the beginning (I like to call "reality") courses, things start to get cheap pretty fast.

The Soccer ones are the best imo, especially Super Mario Strikers. Everything in it was fun and enjoyable to play. Of course, they had to f*** it up with Mario Strikers Charged. =P
Yea but Tennis was pretty cool if you played on normal stages. And baseball was really easy despite whatever AI problems you were having, I could easily pitch shutouts in it.
Hmm, seeing the regular outfits (excluding the princesses) being used for every sport is no good.

What's up with all the praise for Strikers? I thought it was alright but I never really thought of it as a really good game, let alone the best sports game I've ever played.

The game wasn't that fair, you kinda had to get lucky when taking a shot and hope that Kritter thing screwed up when blocking a shot. Like someone with 20 good shot attempts may only get 3 points but someone with 13 may get 4 points to win.
Mario Strikers is awesome for it's high-level-intense-non-stop-action.
