yeah the most boring sport to me is Volley Ball.

I want the option to pick the same character twice on my side. (like having more than one Yoshi on my team). Also, I want to let more than one player pick the same character, if said character has alternate colors. (like the way it was in Super Sluggers).
I agree with this. Hated it when CPU's could use 3 Yoshi's while I had to use only 1 in tournament mode.White Yoshi said:

They should reintroduce the alt colors from MT64. Where Peach was teal, Daisy was purple, and so on. That would something cool to see.
They did the same in Golf, except you could choose your alternate colors, as well as having 4 different colors total per character, I liked when they did that.★Plum★ said:

Having 1 alt would be best in a game like Sports Mix.
I wouldn't mind seeing another Mario Sports Mix. It would just need a few more sports. Maybe 6-7 and it could replace Wii Sports. I'd like to see sports like Softball, Football (Soccer), Badminton/Tennis, Snowboarding and maybe Squash. It would be cool to see Lacrosse
I think this game has a VERY good chance of being made, just on the fact that it is the best selling Mario Sports game in Japan.(Yep, it even beat out Mario & Sonic Olympics and Mario Tennis 64 in the home region)
I only hope they improve on Volleyball, because it was MUCH, much better in both M&S: London and Mario Party 5.
I thought the other three sports were rather well done, though I could see them expanding on some ideas for sure.
With it being developed by Squeenix, a bigger story mode would be nice for one, and of course a larger roster!
The music and levels though were both really fantastic in both 3on3 and Sports Mix.

It would be nice to see a sequel. Basketball gets on my nerves, the dunking is almost unstoppable for some reason. Hockey and Dodgeball NEED to return, they were awesome sports to play and dodgeball is very fun to play. These two and a few new ones should be mixed together. Of course a new, better plot should be implemented. The tournaments took a very long time to get through, especially volleyball.
