Mario Party Mafia 3 (NIGHT 8)

I think Staryu's beating around the bush but I don't get any strong reading that he's scum.

Unless he, Spirit and Boo are all scum (doubtful).

Is Kyle scum? Probably not, probing yes.

Mort is a fish out of water tho. And where's Cook, Berry and someone else I can't think of? (not Vaati, that idiot)

Not changing vote until I reread over the past messages. But I don't smell defensive play from Staryu, just weak spread attack. ._.

Berry has informed me that he would be leaving for nine days (like two-four days ago lol) and he said he would try to get on his cell phone but he will be most likely be less active.
Vaati said something about camp but he's had like a total of two posts in this game and he hasn't told me anything. So he still has that deadline before I replace him (probably with someone who has died in this game and who's played more than once tbh).

There's a game of Mafia over at MPF which is the main reason Kyle brought up the game comparison. :p



So from what I've gotten from DAY 4 Start (a log of developments):

Spirit voted me since he thought I was laying a trap to push suspicion away - I really don't know why I would gain anything from being less suspicious since William grilled me Day 3
William voted Mort.
Staryu voted me since I asked for it.
Mort voted Staryu after a block of ramble. Points raised include if Peaches targetted Waluigi, Mafia being lucky not to attack defensive town roles, Staryu somehow appearing to fit into a Mafia group, my somehow being unwise to kill (despite what I've said otherwise) and luck.
William changes vote to me.
Yoshi voted no lynch, claiming he can't back any reason up. Did you read the progress of the topics? :/
WAHA voted no lynch. (Typical.)
Billy voted Staryu saying that Billy's reasoning was sound. Problem is, would you call hypotheses sufficient reasoning or an attempt to overtheorize and thus confuse?
I voted myself.
Polar voted no lynch. Wait, you say "[that's] all I should do" in that post (reply #357). What do you mean by that?
Staryu suggests Billy/Mort mafia group.
Mort changes vote to no lynch, claiming a wish to stay safe. Hmm, unless you're trying to conceal a power role that feels a little scummy.
William tells me to shut up after I off-topically suggest he's defensive killing power role. Probably doesn't gauge too much.
Kyle voted Staryu after deciding too many accusations and role attempting is scummy.
Staryu claims Kyle is Bowser.
Cook voted for Staryu since Staryu's claims seem too overdone and suggest scumminess.
Then some stuff about "Your argument is too weak" between Kyle and Staryu. Spirit suggests that he thinks Staryu's not scum. William follows also adding Kyle to that pot.
Also Snowy doing a ghost stalk (much like I did last game, but more pressing).



Mort, in your opinion would you prefer the mafia to kill themselves and the Toads clean up the collateral, or would you be more comfortable with the Toads taking on one group at a time? To me this question may reveal a bit of your alignment.

Random theorizing: if William says he can say Kyle and Staryu are anti-scum, and Spirit also says Staryu is anti-scum, then I feel as if:
1. All four are pro-town and the first three could have some form of communication with each other as allocated by night role. This doesn't discern Spirit's identity though.
2. Spirit has a false reading, then things get iffy since the others can't be Toadsworths (otherwise they might die during recruit).
From this, it is my belief that it would be a good play if a cop investigates Staryu tonight to in one way or another reveal his alignment (or at least attempt to anyway). Mort may also be a good choice for investigation but that depends on how much you can decipher or weed out of him.
3. Some other improbable combination of factors that could epic screw town up if we play badly. Not limited to Spirit possibly investigating for dark motives.

Also, the players in the shadows (Yoshi, Polar, WAHA) haven't spoken too much on their own thoughts today. Berry and Vaati are inactive so it's town discretion as to what to do with them. Cook is... idktbh. O_O

Just reiterating my position:
I am not Bowser Jr.
I am not a Boo.
William suspects that I am scum.
I post a lot, maybe too much for my own good.
I kinda want to die today (hence my self vote). But that requires three vote changes.
I don't have any viable FoSes even though there have been some interesting moves by mainly Mort and Staryu. To a lesser extent Kyle, William and Spirit. (And me, fair enough.)

Have you heard of a little place called "Pokemon Online". Well if you haven't oh well. I have been playing mafia there for the past few days, but there mafia games are run by a bot sort of thing and the games last less than ten minutes a piece. You get 30 seconds to do your night actions and you get 30 seconds to do your voting.
