The Fuzzy gyro game is a bit too slow for my liking and all those frames are distracting. :p

The waterway one looks fun but frustrating for unsteady hands :p

I actually like the crispness of the graphics on display which is pretty sweet. And now we know what the happening space on the mountain stage does. :p

It looks fun to play. That Gyro game looks interesting.

...to be honest... this footage of the game is making me dislike the game a bit...
Also - Minigame every 3 turns...? I wonder what that'll do if you win... and why not every turn, in that case?

I think that a mini-game every 3 turns has to do with length, so the game is not too long with the mini-games and not too short with whatever the reward for winning the mini-games is (Maybe something like mushrooms, I'm not sure). That's what it looks like to me. Seems kinda fair that way if you ask me.

More Mini-Game Footage!

Mario Party: Island Tour - Buzz a Fuzzy Minigame Gameplay Playthrough (3DS)
Mario Party: Island Tour - Slip Not Minigame Gameplay (3DS)
Mario Party: Island Tour - Impersonation Game Show Minigame Gameplay (3DS)
This mini-game game confirms that Shy Guy, Dry Bones, Koopa Troopa, Birdo, and Goomba are definitely not playable, as they are the "Judges" in the mini-game. The characters shown in the roulette are pretty much the confirmed playable characters, except for Bowser.

Mario Party: Island Tour - Ka-Goomba AR Gameplay (3DS)

Andre and Derek, nice to hear from you! Nice footage, kinda...I'm actually disappointed that Shy Guy's chances of returning are reduced next to nothing, but I'm willing to pay that price and sacrifice if Boo does indeed show up in the cast. Watch out because I'm a' already rehearsing and have been doing so for a very long time! How was that?

Details about the videos shown above can be seen here.

- Banzai Bill board has players climbing a mountain
- roll the dice and risk making progress on the board or hide out in cave
- when somebody rolls a Banzai Bill, it fires across one of the board's horizontal ledges
- this will knock back everybody in its path
- roll dice by jiggling around on touch screen then fling it
- Buzz a Fuzzy involves four players competing to fire arrows at a series of Fuzzies
- all players are aiming in the same area
- receive a point for each Fuzzy you hit
- three rounds where you each fire one arrow
- move the system to aim, pull back on Circle Pad and release to fire
- Slip Not has each player controlling their character as they ride a raft down a winding, watery path
- controlled via motion control only
- Ka-Goomba is a mini-game that requires players to use one of the AR Cards
- shoot at augmented-reality Goombas ,with regular Goombas worth 1 point and Gold Goombas worth 3
- ends with a boss fight against a Whomp that needs to be shot in the back
- Choicest Voice selects a random Mario character and plays a voice clip
- players have to mimic that voice with their own voice via microphone
- judges within the game choose the best match
- game only rates by the amplitude envelope, not pitch

Oh boy, so to roll the dice, you must use the touch screen for that.

They recycled some themes from MP9. XD
Some? :p

So far I'm not that impressed. And it's REALLY bumming me out that I won't be able to play online.

Exactly. They used all. They even remake some of the music to a remix that is fairly obvious. They better work on the game more because so far, MPIT has 0% interest for me.
So Monday you had no interest, and then two days later Nintendo amazes you.

I'm very pleased that my Boo is back. I can finally play as him now, it's been 6.5 years, damn.
