So far not really any Galaxy references that would make anyone think Rosalina would have any role in the game though. :-\

I think if they don't add Rosalina in someway there is going to be a huge backlash from Rosalina fans. Even though Mario Party isn't really her place to be.
Actually I thought there had been quiet a few Galaxy references. There were the Wittles in the wood chopping minigame, in a few other screen shots, namely the one with the minigame where they are shooting different colors of paint onto a blank canvass, you can see the Toad Town from Super Mario Galaxy in the backround. Plus the whole theme of this game is sort of screaming "Rosalina", and "Galaxy". But that is just my opinion.

Also on the second trailer when the camera goes so high that it reaches space and the Mario Party 9 logo appears!
Hopefully a Rainbow Board with Rosalina?

I agree. Just look at games like Mario Kart. Mario Kart Wii had 25 characters and Mario Kart 7 still had a somewhat respectable amount of characters. They could have very easily made a Mario Party game with a character amount well into the 20's.Roger_Shy°ω°Guy said:

I think if they put 20 or more characters in the game they will focus on that to much and not the Minigames and boards.

The difference from making characters in Mario Kart and Mario Party is the characters aren't on separate screens some times and when they get close together and look the same, the players might get confused (like if koopa and hammer bro were playable in the same mini-game), so it's kinda hard for them to just add a lot of characters without being forced to put player icons above their heads like in Super Smash Bros.Super Mario Party said:

He is the only person on the boxart that we don't know the role of. And since all the other characters are on the box. I think hes the playable one.
They did say in the story mode you would be facing Bowser's minions and in Mario Party 8 his minions were Hammer Bro and Blooper, so I think it would make since for Kemek, Koopa, and Shy Guy to be the three minions you are up against and all three of them are next to Bowser on the cover.
I hope it's not Kamek. I prefer to see him as a mini-boss.

Well they can't just spoil everything in the review. They didn't spoil all the boards in the review either. So it doesn't really mean much to me. I'm not even sure they're allowed to just spit all the secrets of a game out in a review.OhMyToad said:
