And we don't know if Blooper will return or not (hopefully not), but I did notice that the one mini-game where players are shooting projectiles at the Blooper. This Blooper, seems to be a larger version of a normal Blooper. So it could be the normal Blooper may return. Or, the large Blooper is probably growing larger as he takes more hits.

But seriously, I like blooper and it would be cool to see him back. If he's not, it's okay... :p
 
YES!!! They finally make Koopa Troopa and Shy Guy as playable characters!
But where's Toadette, Dry Bones, Boo, and most importantly (to me)... HAMMER BRO?
As for Bowser Jr, I'm fine if he's not playable as long as Hammer Bro is playable.

I wanted MP9 to use MP8's roster with the addition of Koopa Troopa and Shy Guy. That is enough for me.
...or replace Blooper and Birdo with the two.
 
There's no specific "developed" character I have in mind for being playable. I'm simply stating that a character that has legitimately been involved in a main storyline that is not a generic enemy. For example, Rosalina. She beared great significance to the Super Mario Galaxy storyline. It makes more sense for me to incorporate her as a playable character instead of a generic koopa.
 
10 isn't bad, for a game that only 4 people are playing at once I think that 10 characters is fine, although, the additions of Toadette and Rosalina would be welcome (although Rosalina may not fit). However I would prefer them steering clear from regular enemies (major villains like Bowser and Donkey Kong are ok). The only exceptions would be Koopa (as he isn't always a villain) and possibly Shy Guy.
But I don't really want many more Characters, a max of 12 or possibly 14, that still allows for 4-6 unlockables.
 
I agree on the villain thing, one reason I wasn't a big fan of the 2 new characters in Mario Party 8 was that it was just an(other) addition of a Bowser minion. I mean at the rate they were going we were gonna have a Buzzy Beatle in Mario Party 10!

*silence*

Ok maybe people don't find Mario universe humor funny. :-\
