Did something bad happen to you on Wi-Fi? Were you the victim of item rape? Then talk about it here. I just got badly item raped a second a go. I was playing on N64 Bowser's Castle, and I was playing as my Mii on the Mach Bike. Everything was going great, until... A Spiny Shell came, I thought, "no biggie". Then it just got worse... I was struck by lightning, a Luigi pushed me off the course, this was around the bridge area with all the fire. I got back on the bridge, and then Daisy comes and stars me off the bridge... I started getting frustrated, and a little annoyed, I then get lightning'd while I'm crossing he bridge and then some Wario comes and Bullet Bills me off the bridge AGAIN. I was freaking pissed as heck. And last but not least, some Mii person bomb'd me on the bridge. I went from first straight to last. And I'm not lying, all of this just happened a minute a go. Has this ever happened to you?
 
The trick to online racing in MKWii is always to pull away early. If you don't pull away in like the top 2 (or 3 depending on how many people) then you're in for shit. Blue shells can pull you down but you can usually recover enough.

That being said, I don't recall specific moments but it's had to happen to everyone at least 42 times.

For real... I was about to destroy my controller, I couldn't do anything for about, estimation... 20 seconds?
 
The worst is Luigi Circuit, where every moron has a chance to win. On the last lap its all about sandbagging in the back to get a star or golden mushroom. It's terrible. I remember twice I lost like 250 points cause I'd finish like 11th at that track. Took off my Wii in frustration once.
 
The worst are those retro courses that were not designed for MKWii's system of Item abuse. On the knew courses I can easily pull away from others by doing tricks and getting speed boosts, thus I'm not very affected by the items. But those retro courses are terrible, they're shorter giving you less time to catch up after getting hit, and there's no ramps or speed boosts, which means that shitty racers can win just by getting good items. That's not right, the best racer should win

Yes, I love it :p

At the end of the match when I'm in first, I always get hit with stuff.
 
I only get hit with the occasional Red/Blue Shells and Lightning.

I have yet to be totally raped.
