Now, what the hell happened here? I couldn't be dammed to read the whole thing but whoever said the Egg1 is terrible is stupid.

And I found MKDS easy as hell and not a huge mess in the item department. Same with Double Dash, both are pretty easy. Super Circuit...I don't even remember.

The Egg 1 IS terrible. It has poor stats compared to the Shooting Star or Berserker.

No, it never did, for Mario Kart.

I read that in VS play with a single cartridge, all players use Yoshi, with each being a different color.

Nah Shaby's right it is in Super Circuit. I remember I had that LAN thing and it had two Yoshis racing each other.
