The Legacy is a place where everyone knows each other by name and position. But perhaps that knowledge will bring about the downfall of them all...?
Game has concluded.
This is a game of mafia with a special setup known as Smalltown.
Most people would have heard of or played a mafia game already, but if you haven't or need a refresher on general gameplay, check this flash tutorial out: http://cataldo.freeshell.org/mafia/mafiascum04.swf
Smalltown, I hear you ask? Smalltown is a special kind of mafia where all roles are known as well as who has what role. Note that the alignments are still random so anyone could be a mafioso. Gameplay becomes more of a logic puzzle using all the town's roles to find the bad guys.

Game Setup
>12 players (9 town, 2 mafia, 1 serial killer)
>Drafted roles
>Day Start
>1 mafioso to deliver kill action (they may also use their power role)
>Serial killer has compulsive kill (power role may still be used)
>Lynches must occur from Day 2 onward (Day 1 may end No Lynch if desired)
>Serial killer has kill priority over mafia
>Communication (mafia, serial killer, masonry) via QuickTopics
>Night actions via PM or QuickTopic
Win Condition
>Town - you win (collectively, even if dead) if all threats to the town are eliminated. That means get rid of the mafia and the serial killer.
>Mafia - you win (collectively, even if dead) when it's logically impossible to lose any more mafia. Given the number of powers plus the serial killer, this won't necessarily mean that mafia has more members than town.
>Serial Killer - you win when you are one of the final two left alive. Or by yourself. Serial killers are stronger than mafia in SK vs maf situations.
Roles and Role PMs (in spoiler)
Welcome to MPL Smalltown! You are Aegis, the doublevoter.
>During the day, any vote you make counts for two votes.
>You do not have any night actions.
===============
Welcome to MPL Smalltown! You are Berry, the two-shot masonizer.
>During the night, you may choose to recruit someone into the masonry.
>Mafia players cannot be recruited (even if you are mafia yourself) - you will be notified when this happens.
>The Serial Killer may be recruited into the masonry.
>You may communicate with your mason buddies at any time in the course of the game, using the Quicktopic.
===============
Welcome to MPL Smalltown! You are Boo, the silencer.
>During the night, you may choose someone to silence.
>They will not be able to discuss during the day, except make a vote.
>Be careful as silencing may be reflected back at you.
===============
Welcome to MPL Smalltown! You are Chubzster, the tracker.
>During the night, you may choose someone to track.
>You will find out all of your choice's targets for the night.
>You will not know what was performed on each target.
>Your tracking may be reflected back on yourself.
===============
Welcome to MPL Smalltown! You are Kinetic, the two shot sensor.
>During the night, you may choose to analyze the lynch wagon of either that day or the day before. (i.e. if it's Night 2, you can analyze either Day 1 or Day 2's wagon.)
>You will find out how many anti-town (maifa/serial killer) players voted on the wagon.
>You will not know the identities of the anti-town players.
===============
Welcome to MPL Smalltown! You are Kyle, the two-shot mirror.
>During the night, you may choose to activate your Nova Barrier.
>The following actions will be reflected without using up the mirror: Chubzster's tracking, Boo's silencing, Spectre's code giving.
>A factional kill (from either mafia or serial killer) will be reflected, but the mirror will be used up. In this way, you won't survive being targetted by both factions at once.
>You cannot reflect SuperZ's vig kill, Snowy's redirecting, VIP's hiding, Berry's masoning, Ryou's guarding, or Staryu's motivating.
>A mirror that isn't triggered during the night is still used up.
===============
Welcome to MPL Smalltown! You are Ryou, the bodyguard/vengeful townie.
>During the day, if you are lynched, you must choose any player who is alive, and kill them before you are lynched.
>During the night, you may choose someone to defend.
>If they are targetted by a factional kill (from either mafia or serial killer), you will die in their place.
>Bodyguarding someone who is targetted by both factions will lead to both your death and the person you defended.
>SuperZ's vig kill will ignore your defending attempts.
===============
Welcome to MPL Smalltown! You are Snowy, the two-shot target redirector.
>During the night, you may choose someone to redirect their night action.
>You can choose anyone (including yourself) to be the new target of the night action.
>If you target an anti-town (mafia/serial killer) player, the factional kill will be redirected in favor of the night action.
>If a player has more than one night action to perform (example, code or motivation), the first action submitted will be redirected.
>SuperZ's vig kill cannot be redirected.
===============
Welcome to MPL Smalltown! You are Spectre, the two-shot coder.
>During the night, you may choose to create a code.
>Codes can be made out of the following roles: Snowy's redirecting, VIP's hiding, Ryou's bodyguarding, Kyle's reflecting, Chubzster's tracking, Boo's silencing, Kinetic's sensing, and Aegis's doublevoting.
>The code that is made is random, but is limited by the roles that are still alive. (So if Ryou is dead, you cannot make a code that allows someone to bodyguard.)
>When you have a code, you must give it to someone (not yourself), otherwise it will expire overnight.
>Your target will be notified of the code they receive. If it is a night action, they can use it along with any night actions they have. If it is the doublevoting code, they can use it for the next day (it will be reflected in the vote tally).
>Your code giving may be reflected back at you.
===============
Welcome to MPL Smalltown! You are Staryu, the one-shot motivator.
>During the night, you may choose someone to motivate.
>You can motivate the following roles: Kyle, Chubzster, Boo, Spectre, Kinetic.
>Your target will gain an extra chance to perform their night action (assuming they have uses left), at no cost to any shot limitations they have.
>They will be notified that they have been motivated, and the effect lasts the night they were motivated only.
>Factional kills (from either mafia or serial killer) cannot be motivated, only night actions.
===============
Welcome to MPL Smalltown! You are SuperZ, the one-shot unstoppable vigilante.
>During the night, you may choose someone to kill.
>They will be killed without any interference from other night actions.
===============
Welcome to MPL Smalltown! You are VIP, the hider.
>During the night, you may choose someone to hide behind.
>Anything that targets you, besides SuperZ's vig kill and Snowy's redirecting, will miss you completely.
>However, if the person you are hiding behind is killed, you will die as well.
>Hiding behind an anti-town (mafia/serial killer) player will cause you to die (even if you are anti-town yourself).
>You may not behind the same person twice during the game; i.e. you must choose a different person to hide each time you choose to.

Rules
Bolded rules are pretty important.
1. Bold your votes. Especially in this sort of game where player names and role titles can be tossed about, be sure to make it clear when you're voting with Vote: 8B1T or similar. No bold = no vote. Same thing goes for unvotes.
2. No editing of posts. Make a new post (called an EBWOP) to correct any minor errors you may have made, such as formatting. If you worded something really wrongly, tough luck - it's open to everyone's scrutiny. Modkills will be made if it gets out of hand.
3. Deadlines will be set, changed and removed at my discretion. This applies to night actions moreso than the dayvote since you have to lynch from Day 2 onward, but in the off case that a lynch deadline is called for, majority (non-lynch requirement) vote will dictate the lynch.
4. No extraneous communication allowed unless role/alignment states so. There should be plenty to talk about in the topic without having to resort to other means. Modkill will be the penalty.
5. Keep consistent with names when voting. If everyone prefers to vote by player name, that's fine; if they want to vote by role name, that's alright as well. But avoid mixing player and role names in the vote - especially if we have players like Staryu or Boo, who share player names with some of the roles.
6. Stick to the forum rules, and don't act like an ass to others. Pretty straightforward. The activity's here for fun, not for people to be bashed or feel victimized.
7. After someone hammers, no votes can be removed from the lynch wagon. Votes can be added which is fine, but don't take off a hammer just because you didn't realize your vote was hammer. You'll probably be warned but not modkilled, but try to avoid it if you can.
8. The night phase should be a time for quiet, save for free-roaming ghosts of past phases. On the flipside, I'd like ghosts to keep their roaming on day phases to a minimum.
9. If referring to your role, try to avoid copying a PM verbatim. By all means use quotes (preferably from the game topic) but copying the whole role PM isn't going to look good. If you display your alliance via a PM copy, you'll be modkilled.
10. Replacements will be called in if a player has stated they'll be having a long absence, or if they are inactive for 7 days. Replacement order is done in order of signing up.
11. As the gamemod, usual courtesy/respect/etc. applies. My word will for most circumstances be final. If there's a discrepancy, don't argue, instead take it to PM. I shouldn't bite.
