A classic game. It was released for the SNES and was the third Zelda game. I played it last summer on the Wii VC and I got to the very end of the last dungeon before the final boss but I never finished the game. :p I definetly see why people loved this game so much. Its one of my favorites. I thought they had a lot of useless items though. :p

A video for those who don't know what the gaem looks like :

I really loved this Zelda game. The story was great, the gameplay was amazing, and the graphics were nice. I really liked the vast overworld of this game, it really shaped the land of Hyrule. This game has a moderate difficulty, it wasn't too hard yet it wasn't easy. I really enjoyed the game's music especially Kakario Village, Dark World, and Zelda's Lullaby. I liked how this game transforms from a peaceful, green, and bright setting to a dark, creepy, and evil setting. A Link to the Past was like the prequel of Ocarina of Time.

I recently started playing it after having it in my VC library for god knows how long and managed to beat it. Collected all heart containers and all of the items too.

Basically you travel through the light and dark world to save Zelda from Agahnim and Gannon. It's acclaimed as one of the hardest games in the Zelda franchise and now one of my favorites, minus a few dungeons. The game was originally for the Super Nintendo but was released on the GBA and Virtual console in re-releases.

I found it really challenging and annoying at times especially with the second boss Moldurn. Anyone else here played it?

I'm willing to bet it's hard to find anyone here who did NOT play this game. It's A Link to the Past for Pete's Miyamoto's sake!

I've played it, though I never collected all the collectables yet. I probably could, but I've only completed the game last year due to circumstances. Them being that when I finally got to Turtle Rock on the SNES version (I wasn't good at games back then yet), my cartridge got completely wiped after saving and quitting, and I pretty much lost interest in it for a pretty long time from that bad aftertaste.

Despite that event though I still love this game now. It really is a work of brilliance, though I wouldn't go as far as to say it's the hardest of the Zelda games. I personally think Majora's Mask and both NES titles are harder, at the very least. But it's certainly still a pretty hard game.
