Kinect at E3 11

How do you think Microsoft will show off Kinect this year? Will it dominate the press conference with actors pretending to play or will Kinect take a back seat while other announcements are made? I have a feeling Kinect will again take a major role in this year's press conference but I have a feeling Microsoft has something big up their sleeves...

I think it will focus more on Kinect. Microsoft wants to get gamers to try out the Kinect. Eventually, they could be abandoning the controller completely and that will not make us happy, because most of us here aren't willing to try out the Kinect.

Microsoft might have other plans, but still, I think its goal is to make Kinect prominent.

Better games, most of the kinect games we have are still the launch ones. Metal Gear Solid Rising looks fun.

It's great, they just need great games for it. And when you play Kinect Cook you automatically look like an idiot no matter what you do.

Kinect is and will never be impressive. It joined the motion-control train way too late to be at all significant.

Kinect has potential its just not getting the types of games it needs, it seems all of these games are becoming the childish motion games you have on the Wii. Sesame Street really? Why not show some more of Metal Gear Solid Rising, or Steel Battalion Heavy Armor, at least show us that there are some more "hardcore" kinect titles.

The Kinect is much more than the eye  toy, it's not just a camera that shows you on the tv. It tracks your body and your motions, in Sonic Free Riders to do a trick I have to crouch first, then jump up, and then in mid-air spin around in a circle to get the highest rated trick (which is X). I don't think the eye toy could do that.
