WarioWare4.jpg

21. WarioWare

This stage is one stage with interesting gimmicks. The microgames are fun to do and very rewarding, offering mushrooms, stars, item drops, and even recovery. WarioWare has always been a fun series, and this stage only adds to it.

20. Distant Planet

This stage is a nice way to represent Pikmin. Although it has high camping potential, the torrent and the Bulborb punish taunters. The Pellets are also nice projectiles, dealing more damage as the number on them increases, and they can really help if thrown into Onions that are the same color.

18. Port Town Aero Drive

HECK YES. F-Zero stages have always been fun to play on, and this is no exception. This stage is constantly moving, which means that you'll get damaged by the track if you just sit in one spot. The cars add up to the fun by forcing you to plan ahead of when they come. The overall randomness makes this a very hectic stage. Also one of the themes, Dream Chaser, was 8-bit remixed to be used as Bright Man's stage theme in Rockman 4 MI.

17. Mushroomy Kingdom

Moving stages are nice to play on, and two moving stages in one only adds up to the fun, especially since you won't know where you'll be going to. You are forced to keep moving, which I like. The ? Blocks give out items, which is a nice reference to the ? Blocks in the Mario series.

15. Rumble Falls

This is one great moving stage. Not only does it scroll, but it sometimes goes faster, pressuring taunters. The spikes catch them off guard and one of them is even an OHKO if not teched. Also this stage has a number of great music in it, including Bramble Blast, a really great song.

MarioBros_Stage.jpg

14. Mario Bros

This stage is so fun to play in. The fireballs, Shellcreepers, and Sidesteppers force you to move. This stage has so much nostalgia in it that the playstyle is different. It comes with the satisfaction of shredding a taunt party to pieces. Thought you can just sit and do nothing? Take a turtle to the face! You think you can 3v1 me? Eat crab, everyone!

10. Halberd

Being Meta Knight's battleship, it's no wonder that I like this stage so much. The first section can surprise KO any taunters not on the main platform. The Combo Cannon also punishes taunters through cannonballs, a mechanical arm, and a GIANT LASER BEAM OF DEATH AND DESTRUCTION LOLZ!

Final_Destination_Brawl.JPG

7. Final Destination

Final Destination is one of the most popular stages for tournaments. This is due to its simplicity of being one platform. While this provides a fair fight in standard tourney matches, it is quite overpicked in random matches, which is why I won't rank it any higher.

Yoshi'sIslandBrawl2.jpg

5. Yoshi's Island Brawl

My favorite Mario- (or to be more specific, Yoshi-) themed stage. It has a basic layout with two platforms to allow fair fights. The Fly Guys provide food when items are on, adding a nice touch.  The changing seasons are also nice as they add on to the scenery as the battles progress.

3. Smashville

Being my favorite of the Japanese 3, this stage has a lot going for it. The balloons are nice to get some action by popping them, getting some food if turned on. There are a lot of Animal Crossing characters in this stage's background, like Tom Nook, Crazy Redd, Dr. Shrunk, and the Villager. Also, on Saturdays 8.00 PM-12.00 AM, K.K. Slider will perform one of six different songs. With that event taking place, you don't want to miss his latest concert when brawling.

2. Lylat Cruise

Oh boy, now we're talking. Lylat Cruise is an awesome stage. It is a very simple stage with many platforms to encourage fighting while not being cheap. Being unique among Star Fox stages in that it takes place somewhere different than the Great Fox, this only adds to its quality. It also has events related to numerous events from Assault, being a visit to Corneria, and asteroid field, a skirmish, a peaceful time in the stars, and a clash between Star Fox and Star Wolf. Fox, Falco, and Wolf can also chat with other characters from Assault similar to the Corneria conversations. A simple stage with great scenery and an interesting easter egg. That gives me a great idea. Lylat Cruise for SSB4! Seriously, HAL, I don't care if you have to replace Delfino Plaza or even Final Destination! Make this awesome stage in your returning list. Do it! To end this entry off, I'll share some more with you: You don't f
