Jinx's Top 10 WORST Mega Man Weapons

QuartrJinx?
The Mega Man series is filled with all sorts of weapons to use, and for every great weapon, there's always those ones that suck. This list covers the 10 worst weapons from my viewpoint. One rule: one weapon only for each game.

10. Skull Barrier

This is by far MM4's worst weapon. You can't throw it and it disappears in one hit, and it does very little damage to enemies, making it a really bad shield weapon. It can be used to stop the boulders in Drill Man's stage, but you're better off charging Pharaoh Shot without firing it for that.

MM8-Get-WaterBalloon-SS.png

9. Water Balloon

Water... Balloon. Yeah, that should give you an indication that it sucks. It has very low attack power and is slow, and on a roster of good weapons this one is definitely MM8's worst weapon. Not much use other than taking out Sword Man, as it is outclassed by Flash Bomb.

#7
MM2-BubbleLead-Art.jpg

7. Bubble Lead

Lame weapon from a lame Robot Master from an overrated game. It deals very little damage and has poor lobbing capabilities, and in a game where you can destroy everything with Metal Blade, there is no reason to use this other than weaknesses. Sure, there's the exposure of fake floors in Wily 4, but why bother when you can use Item-2?

ThunderWool.jpg

5. Thunder Wool

Anyone who plays MM10 should know how mediocre this weapon is. It has a very slow startup, and if the cloud hits, the attack ends. Not only that, but it costs very high amounts of energy to use. Its uses are outclassed by all the other weapons, especially Triple Blade and the Mega Man Killer weapons.

#4
MM1-HyperBomb-Art.jpg

4. Hyper Bomb

The original black sheep of the weapons. It has limited range, and you have to wait for the bomb to explode for it to hit, making it unviable against Guts Man despite it being his weakness. You're better off using Thunder Beam or Fire Storm as they take out anything that Hyper Bomb can in a more efficient way.

2. Sakugarne

The worst Game Boy exclusive weapon ever, and considering how lame of a boss Quint is, it isn't too surprising. The way that it's executed is rather poor, as it can only safely work if it OHKOs an enemy, and you will take damage if it doesn't. No wonder Quint isn't considered a Mega Man Killer!

Oh, crud. What could be worse than the pogo stick?

1. Spark Shock

My Arceus. Spark Shock is everything terrible about Mega Man weapons in one stupid energy package! It's like a f

ing Jersey Shore weapon that's a f

ing mind numbingly f

ing stupid idea, that looking at it makes you reap for humanity! Its design is literally a horrible Ice Slasher rehash to the point where they both paralyze enemies. It's annoying to get due to a hard stage, which in itself is ripped from Ice Man's difficulty, and also a stupid idea in the first place, its concept was gimmicky, and it has horrible power and a horrible mechanic for all of its horrible uses and all of its horrible weakness uniquenesses! Spark Shock is the worst Mega Man weapon ever. It's unoriginal. It's unusable!
