That's a bizzare place to have the E3 expo... Anyway the PS3 was worth everything. You get awesome titles in crystal clear HD graphics with free online and a built-in Blu-Ray player.

Exactly, there can't be two in different places at the same time as the other. But yeah, just time zone. PDT and IST is a huge difference, 12.5 hours difference. I'm not sure if Sri Lanka is using DST, though.

And yeah, it's definitely in LA, Los Angeles Convention Center.

To get back on topic, I still think you should wait. It's already too long since the release of the PS3. If this was asked earlier, then it would be worth buying already. But now, I don't think so. You should save your money, really.

The PS3 is the most future proofed of all the current consoles so I wouldn't doubt that it has a couple years left in its lifespan. And out of everyone, Sony always supports their older consoles pretty well (lots of games continued to come out on PS2 after the PS3 came out). Not to mention, its just a solid system with great games AND a blu-ray player.

That being said, if possible, wait and see what E3 brings because you never know.

Why? Or how? I don't see how it could be too late, considering your birthday is June 13 and Sony's conference for E3 is June 6, a week difference.

Knowing my parents it will be bought before the 6th. And isn't the conference on the 7th?
