It was just released a few days ago. Really, its just an oversized ipod touch. Anyone planning on getting it? Definetly not me, even if they lower the price.

I agree with SZ. It's oversized, and it won't fit in a pocket. You'll look silly walking around while using that thing.
No way i'm getting it. It's almost like from DSi to DSi XL, but with extra steroids. Price=too much. Size= Too big. Apple= no way! Just an iPod touch that's larger, but with higher resolution and slightly more power. Not worth getting.

If you have an Original DS(which I have) or a DS Lite...just stick with that...
I already have a MacBook and an iPhone so I won't get this.
I have an Itouch so I'm not going to buy an Ipad. Just the same features but bigger and more expensive.
I won't get it. I'm sure it won't be the last, they will come with another thing, and it will continue like that.
why dont you just buy an ipod touch, there cheeper and smaller. imagine going on an airplane with an ipad.
I think the iPad is a disappointment, it doesn't have a camera or a USB port. I think it's a waste of money. The iPod Touch is the only thing that is a HUGE success.
To me this is one of the most unsuccessful things that's associated to the iPod.

Also this thing might have some good uses for certain people obviously. Some people need a bigger object so they can find it, people like large text....bigger buttons... etc.

I don't even want an Ipod touch. Why would I want an Ipad? It would be like a mini computer. If you want games, music, and internet, just buy a computer.

It's like a fat guy sat on a touch screen phone and then they rose the price. What a way for Apple to get a few 100 bucks.
Everyone who's actually used one seems to love it. I think it'd be great if they lowered the price, now that OS 4 has been announced (that will bring a ton of useful features to the iPad later this year). Most of the people hating on it for being an oversized iPod Touch don't really know what they're talking about nor have they actually read up on it. It's not supposed to replace a full fledged computer. Take it for what it's supposed to be. Only thing I think could use some work is the price. Right now its too expensive to be a device in between a phone and a computer.
Now that is a beast! Now look at the nintendo dual screen extra large now thats a beast but this! its like a beastly version of the ipod touch
