I'm just going to say this: I am very bitter towards Nintendo as a whole.

Not because of one game, but as a whole . Why? I had to replace a Gamecube Controller because the A button on that one wouldn't function well. You would have to press hard in order for it to work. My brother's DS has a microphone that doesn't function well either. My first DS had the L button eventually. My second one had the R button eventually break as well. I am on my third DS and eventually a button will break. My Wii (which is compatible with Gamecube Controllers) will eventually break. I should not have to spend money on a new Wii, DS or Gamecube controller just because the old one broke. Their games are made in a lazy way as well. Mario Lart 7 lacks single player content when it is a portable. Supposely, it was to get people to play online. Guess what? Both the local and online multiplayer in that game are a 2/10 at best, because of stupid problems such as no pausing, having to do 4 tracks or battle arenas at a time, and dozens of other problems. Mario Party 9 has boss battles where the bosses can't even win, and a story mode that is hardly fun. My Pokèmon Ranch is supposed to be a storage title for Diamond and Pearl, and yet it won't be updated to support Platinum, HeartGold or SoulSilver. Supposedly it won't be updated because it didn't sell well. Guess what? Many people didn't buy it because you can't use it to trade between games, when Pokèmon Box allowed you to do so. Therefore, if you lose your copy of Diamond or Pearl, (I can't find my copy of Platinum as of now) you can't transfer your Pokèmon back, which makes it almost worthless in terms of storage. And apparently, you can't trade because it was meant for families with many people that have Diamond or Pearl, preventing people from stealing your Pokèmon. Well, somebody could hijack your DS and delete your file. Bam, your Pokèmon are stuck forever. Besides, if you had family members steal anything from you, serious problems must exist. Nintendo is just plain lazy nowadays.

I definitely agree with you on some things.  It really upsets me how Nintendo refuses to improve Mario Kart.  They rely on outdated mechanics and annoying features that should have been removed years ago, seriously Mario Kart could learn from other games like Diddy Kong Racing and Sonic racing games.  And Mario Party 9 is plagued with problems, and the story mode shouldn't have been there.  I don't want to trudge through hour long luck-based missions just to unlock the last board and the two characters.  Give me mini-game island instead.

I never had any problems with their hardware.

You can do that, by playing all five starter boards. Shy Guy and Kamek/Magikoopa have to be unlocked with the solo mode.

In terms of hardware, this might be a problem with yourself rather than Nintendo. I'll admit, my R button on my original DS broke and I experienced the Brawl lens error problem, but outside of that, my Nintendo products are fine. Usually when someone has all these problems, they are not taking the best care of their products.

And the rest sounds like little nitpicks that you are lumping together. Small things that I wouldn't really make me bitter.

The most biased rant I've seen for a long time and completely unjustified. >.>

I have four game-cube controllers. None of them broke. Why? Because I'm careful with them. Even if yours was somehow faulty, it doesn't justify Nintendo as lazy because by the looks of it your other controllers work perfectly fine, and it's impossible for any company to have every controller 100% working perfectly. The microphone was a breakthrough in technology at the time. Okay, it was a little unresponsive but even our current technology today still can't understand our voices when we speak into them e.g. iOS devices and Android etc. Moreover, you also had the option to not use the microphone so really there's no reason to complain about. Also the only reason my Phat DS broke was because I dropped it on a hard floor (and only then it was only the casing which was damaged) and admittedly, that was my fault, not Nintendo. Also please don't say "The Wii is terrible because it will break". The most biased statement ever. It hasn't broken so there's no need to bring that up.

For Mario Kart 7, there is a lack of single player content, however it's sufficient for a portable console, especially when the focus is not single player. I happen to think the online multi-player is great. The graphics are amazing, there is only small amounts of lag that I've found and the overall set-up is good. Pausing would be absolutely ridiculous in online however; you can't freeze a game with a room full of active players!! (I'm sort of worried about your lack of intelligence if you didn't know that) as for playing four games at once, you'd rather wait a few minutes for people to join the room before selecting a map which takes additional time after EVERY track has finished? You obviously have a serious lack of knowledge of games and you're expecting far too much.

Apologizes for being so full on, but I hate it when people make up a list of features (that aren't even that bad) basically implying that they are absolutely terrible (which is fair enough if they're justified but this post is anything but that) to back up their completely one-sided argument, and don't even provide ANY solutions how Nintendo could improve these 'problems'(?).

I've only had problems with the Brawl disc lens thing. I think Nintendo makes rather great products. I destroyed a few buttons but that's my problem. I agree with SuperZambezi and Toblet on this one.

I purchased unlicensed GameCube controllers before and they were much less durable than the licensed ones. From my experience, Nintendo makes better GameCube and Wii Controllers than others who make them.

1. How well do you take care of your equipment? Sounds like you're either gripping your shoulder buttons way too hard or you've dropped them somewhere. Be thankful your control sticks or even A button aren't broken.

2. Two things I can say here: everything will deteriorate eventually (yes, even you, if you somehow thought that you wouldn't), and that modern technology hardware isn't necessarily designed for longevity. But if the Wii has lasted for at least 4 years it's doing really well. But hey, ever heard of this thing called repair enquiries? Don't treat everything as a disposable consumable object which you leave to rot and not care for.

3. I agree with Toblet with regards to MK7, however I would say myself that it could have done with a bit more offline content (it's still reasonable though). But asking for pausing in the middle of an online game? The world does not revolve around your time requirements. If you don't like what the game offered and can't stand 'laziness', don't buy the games. Simple as that.

4. Nitpicking; boss battles work fine the way they are. Story modes aren't what the MP series is known for.

5. Nintendo didn't have DLC back in those days. I won't expect them to retrospectively update something.

6. You obviously don't know how to protect your own stuff if your Pokémon are being stolen. Don't blame it on the developer for your own shortcomings.

7. I think it's more that you're not being proactive to stop yourself getting annoyed by little things. Either that or you're starting to realise the phenomenon of becoming disillusioned with a company because your views change.

Personally I've never had problems with any of my Nintendo products.and I keep everything nicely packed when not in use. It does help a lot. :p

Mario Kart 7 having little single player content is fine when it's a portable? Hello, portable means you can take it to a spot where there is no wifi. Therefore, you need good single player content to hold you off.

And how are boss battles fine? There's no fun if a boss can't win at all, and they are never challenging. They were designed to be co-op and they 0% do this job.

My Pokèmon Ranch is hands-down the worst DS, Wii(Ware) or Gamecube title ever. Pokèmon Box is so much better.

Like Chaos said, I think the boss battles were meant to be a competitive minigame that involves teaming up to take down the (impossible to defeat the team) boss. I think the most team based one out of the boss battles was the one against Blooper, and that wasn't fun. And besides the boss battles arent classified as 4 vs Boss or anything. :p

As for your comment on My Pokémon Ranch, I think people who've reviewed the My Virtual Aquarium/Fireplace would beg to differ. There are plenty of goof-ups by companies, it's just that you don't usually expect a company like Nintendo to make those goof-ups.

...did you end up 3-starring your MK7 file?

Being a portable console, it's limited in its abilities and that's what I meant, but Mario Kart does have sufficient offline content. You name me another handheld console by another gaming company that can do half of what the 3DS can do, and if you can't then stop complaining and appreciate what you have. You keep saying "this is bad, that is bad, oh I'll mention this feature is bad too". Seriously, you have no argument at all...
