I hate wasps.

So today I'm doing my usual routine. I grab some toast, make my usual creamed coffee, dress up, and all that good jazz. When I come back there's THIS HUGE ASS INSECT LOUNGING AROUND THE BOTTOM OF MY BLOODY WINDOW. I could recognize it as some kind of wasp but I couldn't tell if it really was due to its massive size, so I asked my aunt about it, and sure enough, it turned out to be a queen wasp. Apparently she had gotten in through the open window and was about to build a nest over the frame when we caught her in the act.

I really, really hate wasps.

Edit note: I must be a victim to muscle memory or something cause for some reason I can't stop calling my aunt my stepmom.

Well, that sucks. I really don't like insects period. Especially Spiders and Wasps, they make me freak out. I had a nest of some sort of bee or wasp developing on the outside of my window once. I'm afraid of getting stung by one so I barricaded the windows. I have never seen a queen though, they must be huge.

Dude, I barely react to stuff that usually freak people out. Snakes, spiders, and various related creepy crawlies I don't mind seeing around. But the moment I lay eyes on a wasp or one of their horrible nests, no matter how small or big it is, I break out in a cold sweat and make a run for it. I know it's a bit irrational to react to a single wasp like it's the harbringer of the apocalypse, but I can't help it because they've always scared the living shit out of me since I was small.
(I suspect it's probably because back when I was 7 or so, some wasps started a nest right outside my bedroom window and it started to... Grow. I could hardly stand the noise and had to sleep in the living room for a while before the buggers were dead.)

And yeah, she was quite big. I determined she was roughly larger than the distal of my thumb. I think it made up about 70% of her overall size, but I wasn't going to risk getting stung to find out.
