I own 12 3DS games and have played the majority of them so i'll tell you whats worth your time and whats worth passing.

The launch didn't have a ton of huge names but has a ton of depth.

Must-Buys
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars
Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition
Dead or Alive: Dimensions
Pilotwings: Resort
Ridge Racer 3D

Get It If You Like The Genre
Samurai Warriors Chronicles
Nintendogs+Cats
Steel Diver
Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D
LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game
Dream Trigger 3D
LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars

Only If You Love The Genre/Cheap Games (Buy 1 Get 1 1/2 Off, Clearance, etc)
Bust-A-Move Universe (priced too high)
Rabbids Travel in Time 3D (really surprised me, solid but very easy platformer)
Madden NFL Football
Rayman 3D (how many times has Ubisoft re-released this?)

Crapware
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 3D (terrible controls ruin an otherwise great game)
Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D
Asphalt 3D
Sims 3

How did they possibly make a better Nintendogs than the original? :p
I've gotten *looks* 34 hours out of it and it's actually my most played game (I play it like 30 minutes per day nahmean?). Every aspect is improved plus you can unlock a robotic dog. It's badass. Walking is really improved and you don't have to wait to go on multiple walks, the competitions are all better (although I miss the athletics course trials from the first one). Graphics & voice recognition are a lot better too.

Any questions about the games ill answer. Shoot

I just remember barely playing the other Nintendogs game and it got boring really fast and the only thing I found fun was frisbee for some reason. But it seemed like all you did was feed it.

Yeah my 30 minutes a day (I feel bad if I don't feed the dog =P) is feeding my dogs (Falco and Bruno [modeled after my real life bull terrier]) and my one cat (Fox) and then just doing the lure courses for my 2 dogs and taking them for a walk. Then check my trainer points =P

Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition's online is awesome, Ridge Racer 3D is fun but gets old. Great Game though. Lego Star Wars Clone Wars is ok, but nothing note-worthy. Those are the games I got.
I own Pirates of the Caribbean (you got a 15 gift card if you got it the first week it was released at toys r us). Good game but kinda short and I had no clue what was going on (I saw third movie. watched first half of the first before falling asleep so I know some of the general plotline =P)

Similar reason why I got Lego Star Wars, amazon.com had given game credit that stacked up for a free game. So I got this. I never watched the tv show it was based on, but I knew who most of the characters were. It's pretty much another Lego game with cool 3D effects.

That sounds so boring... :p

Hmm.

Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition

Dead or Alive: Dimensions

Ridge Racer 3D

Tell me about them, if they're worth playing or something.

Also, not too sure about Samurai Warrior Chronicles, yoshi15 says I probably wouldn't like it.

Fill me in.
I have all those games and they're all amazing. Don't judge Samurai Chronicles on it's presentation cause it's a kick ass hack and slash game. Ridge Racer has really great looking visuals and the cars handle like real cars. The races are really fun since you start at the very last place and you have to work your way to 1st but the announcer's voice throughout the whole race get's annoying... :p Dead or Alive is a perfect 3D fighter with some of the best visuals to ever be on the 3DS. The games moves really fast pace and the fighting is smooth. SSFIV is a great 2.5D fighter. The online is perfect, the games is just as good as the console counterparts, and the game looks great and runs very quick like DoA.

It really depends on if you like the genres.

Street Fighter and Dead or Alive are both quality fighting games that appeal to different sections. Street Fighter is more hardcore (although the hot-buttons on the touch-screen that let you do special moves definitely help out a lot) and way more difficult (AI wise) and takes more time to master. While Dead or Alive is more of a casual affair (way easier game, depth is there but you can button mash a bit if you are casual).SF has better online but DoA is getting a lot of DLC content which is nice. Both good fighters but SF is a better game but if you don't want to master it DoA is a better fighting game for you.

Ridge Racer 3D is pretty much a 'best of' compilation with some new tracks thrown in. The core gameplay is probably the best of any Ridge Racer game although the difficulty for the last branch of the Grand Prix mode is crazy (i'm stuck =[). Sadly it doesn't have online but local play is fun if you know people with it. Best racing game for the system so far.

Samurai Warrior Chronicles is a hack-n-slash game where you play as Japanese warlords/ninjas/etc. It's very mission based instead of "kill everyone" and has pretty good 3D visuals and some DLC support by Koei. It can get repetitive if you don't learn combos but its a very long game and unlocking everything will take a long time. Definitely a solid 30+ hour title.

Just wondering, does SSFIV3D have any planned DLC, like the SSFIVAE charas? (Of course, trying to get Oni and Evil Ryu is cheap :p)

Sounds like you've covered the main titles pretty well TT, certs helps planning what I should get when I buy a 3DS. ;)
No planned DLC for Street Fighter. Maybe once the store is open they might announce something but i'm doubtful
