Tampura raw would be horrible lol. I don't think I've ev er had sashimi (if it's what I'm thinking it is) and raw tuna is great. :p Cooked sushi (by cooked I think you mean it has cooked meat in it, and not completely cooked (much like tempura)) is pretty good, but I'd rather have raw sushi, for anything with meat/fish in it because when I think of raw, I think of the veggie rolls.

Sashimi is pretty much raw fish for eating, i.e. salmon, tuna, and others I forgot. xD
But yeah, just checking that yo meant the meat/seafood in the sushi was precooked, not the rice or roll. xD

Looking at the pic Hunt posted, I'd say that I usually went for Medium-Well steak.

Medium well. My boyfriend likes his rare though, which kind of grosses me out =P.
Is that even healthy? Isn't raw food not good for you?

And I have no idea how my meat is made as long as its good. I don't even eat stuff like steak.
Once it hits a certain temperature most bacteria is killed, but not all. You can get a rare steak and be fine.

Raw would be unhealthy, but people still eat it like that. I know I've seen weird families on that Wife Swap show that ate meat raw. I guess once you get used to it, it won't make you sick. But for your average person who's used to eating their meat cooked to just start eating meat completely raw, you'd probably get sick.

I meant to say my boyfriend eats his meat rare though. Which won't make you sick, which Snowy explained. You can get your meat cooked rare at any restaurant.
