When I was younger, the host freaked me out like HELL. And I mean, HELL. I kept pressing the 'A' button for him to stop talking and for me to get on with teh game.

They should have at least made Ballyhoo Chuck Quizmo from Paper Mario. That's what everyone was speculating at first.
Ballyhoo never freaked me out, I just found him infuriating.
MC Ballyhoo looked so strange like a monster.
I don't know why but I find him somewhat funny... although I am really neutral towards this character, it's not a character that I like that much but at the same time, I won't say "I hate him!".
I don't know who he is or where he came from, I just don't want to see him again. He's annoying and his voice becomes really irritating after listening to him talk for 1 minute.

For me, Ballyhoo was the worst Mario Party host ever! I don't like him at all.
I'm similar. Ballyhoo was a skosh annoying, but he wasn't BAD. Plus, he only made an appearance in one game. If he stayed, it would be worse.Umbreon36 said:

Like said earlier, I don't find him to be annoying (probably in that little bunch that think he's okay, I'm neutral towards him.) I guess I sort of like him, I could say in the middle, neutral, basically. I don't see a problem with him, even if he is not that appealing to me.Vipsoccermaster said:

At least with new characters like Millennium Star/Tumble and Brighton/Twila fit the MP theme. Ballyhoo was just random as hell, and this weird guy whom we have no idea where he came from or why the heck he's running this carnival. I know that's cheesy, but it's true, he's really the most random host in Mario Party.

Especially that we don't even know him from anywhere else but this game, brand new character, but can't be totally applied, after all there are already a lot of characters which appears elsewhere. I'm not exactly sure how it doesn't fit if it's a carnival though... but doesn't even the carnival doesn't completely fit?
