Have you had any deaths worth mentioning?

Are you able to recall any deaths which were silly, stupid, epic, embarressing or anytype that would be considered unusual? Share them if you can remember.


I remember panicking a bit, I was jumping around as small Mario from platform to platform (I think it was that level in Special World 4 with those colored blocks spinning) and I ran into a Goomba. That's a total fail, dying because of a Goomba.

In the first level that started to use the blue and red platforms that switch when you jump, I was doing great until I saw one of the winged coin blocks coming toward me. Naturally, I jumped and completely forgot about the blue and red platforms. Nintendo planned this one.
