It may have been 11 years since the occurrence, but no matter how old it is, it's not right to go have fun about it.
I can't take 9/11 lightly since it's impacted my life a lot. I lost an uncle who was a NYC fireman and he died when the second tower collapsed. I was really lucky that my father wasn't deployed to NYC on 9/11 since he's a Chicago fireman and they were sending firemen all the way from here to New York. Many of the survivors, residents, and emergency crews developed severe cancer from the aftermath of 9/11. All of my father's friends that went to NYC on 9/11 are dead due to developing cancer. If my father went there he probably wouldn't be alive today. The whole reason for 9/11 was to make us fear terrorists living in the Middle East so we would stop interfering with their corrupt government. Most Middle Easterns depicted Americans as evil which is why many terrorists think killing innocent people will get them rewarded in their religion and government. I live in a very populated major city and I would be devistated if terrorism occured here. Not only will my city have a scar, my whole life, the lives of millions of people, the entire country, and even the world. Recently terrorism threat messages have not only been aimed here, but in cities all over the nation. Now I can't even ride the train without being paranoid about the new terrorism threats on trains. In conclusion terrorism is not a laughing matter at all. I believe the actions of humans like terrorists will cause the true end of the world.
