And so is news on the horizon.
So, as you guys probably know, i have often said i didn't want to pursue art as a career since i feel like my work is lacking and i was worried it would become something unfun.
Well, throw that statement into the trash, because i have decided to pursue a serious career for art.
Why? It feels like the only thing i have an inkling of talent for. I suppose the reason why i was scared of jumping into this career was because it would feel less like something i put my heart into and more of a chore if i made it a working job. Not to mention everyone had a talent for art in my family. My sister with airbrushing, my mother with sewing and dance, my dad with metalworking, and my stepmother Kim with her patchworking and drawing. And then there's... Me. The person who has no idea what the hell she should do and has only managed a few measly drawings on paper and tablet.
But now that i'm older, i know that getting a job won't be easy. The economy has taken a major hit in the recent years, and people left and right are losing jobs. I'd rather take up a job that i have been doing since i was a child and love to do as an adult instead of a job that i would regret taking up.
So yeah. Aside from that wall of text, nothing much has been going on. I talked to Kim about my costume and asked if i could help her make it, as she was a costumer in a theatre in oregon (don't ask which one, i can't remember the name) and the result would definitely be one i'd love to see.
Well, i guess there's another thing i could talk about that happened...
*GROANS*
Shush. Anyways, Kim and i started to get along. After so many years of fighting like cat and dog, we're finally starting to see eye to eye. I don't know if it's because i'm starting to grow up or if it's because i'm sharing a roof with her, but it's still a pleasing thing nonetheless. I'm hoping this is the year we can totally make up with each other and move on from the past.
And that's all i have to say. For real this time. Happy early halloween guys!
