Half Life series

[SuperZambezi]

Have any of you played any of the games in the Half Life series? I played Half Life 2 (along with the two additional episodes) at the beginning of this year and I completely loved it! I just bought the original Half Life on Steam and I'm playing through the original.

I saw you were. Any of the games worth buying on Steam? I'm not a fan of Half-Life games, but I guess I should give it a try. Any one of those games worth buying?

[MLYW]

I play the first one sometimes.
*cough*

[Waluiging]

You sure played a lot of Half Life

No, I've never played it. Maybe I'll get in the store.
It's there, right?

Oh yes. Ohhh Yes. I can't say anything about the first Half Life, but playing Half Life 2 was one of my favorite gaming experiences ever. So yes, they are are worth buying (but wait for a Steam deal, they get really cheap).

I play the first one sometimes.

I'm guessing Deathmatch is included in the game? And did you play through the actual game? Half Life 2?

Definitely. The games are made by Valve and Valve owns Steam, so they are always there (and go for very cheap sometimes).

Played but have yet to beat the story. I shall finish it one day, then I will buy Half Life 2. Yeah, most of the time I put in it is due to Deathmatch.

I can't really say since I am only about an hour into Half Life, but if you liked what you played of Half Life, you will LOVE Half Life 2. At least I did. It's very engaging.

Hopefully the HL deathmatch isn't the same as the HL2 deathmatch. HL2 deathmatch is broken.

For those that listened to our fourth podcast, you might have heard of my box jumping troubles. I turned on the game today to see if anything had changed. It didn't. I did a quick google search and I got my answer in the first result. Apparently, this is a problem many other have had. The solution? Crouch-jump. :mute:

I have Half-Life 2 (complete) on the PS3.

Eh, it's ok but I'm assuming it's much better on PC.
