Good and Bad Years for Videogames

Which do you think were good or bad years in the videogame industry?

2010 was a brilliant year for video games, one of the strongest ones in the past decade. There were a ton of racing games, and Black Ops did not disappoint

The weakest one was 2008, I actually had to pick Mario Kart Wii as racing game of the year. That's how bad 2008 was...

Everything after the Fifth Generation of gaming pretty much sucked...

Though, I like the games of today, the years after the Fifth Generation didn't really go well today with today's gaming...

I think after the Wii, 360, and PS3 came out, I started to lose interest in modern gaming.

I still stick with retro gaming.

2001 was prolly the best video game year of all time (off the top of my head).

Conker's Bad Fur Day
GRAND THEFT AUTO 3
Final Fantasy X (at the time)
Advance Wars
Halo
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3
Diablo 2 Expansion Pack (if you wanna count that)
Luigi's Mansion & Pikmin (though never played, just pointing it out :p)

Not to mention Gamecube, Xbox, and the Gameboy Advance all got released that year, too.

Oh, and RUNESCAPE~~~~~ haha. Took over a good portion of months :p

2007 was pretty cool, mainly because it had the 4th Generation Pokemon games released.

2008 was pretty cool pre-Mario Kart Wii, It had SSBB, MKWii for the Nintendo Wii(IMO By far the best games for the Wii) and it had Burnout Paradise on January I believe, I spent most of that year playing SSBB so yeah. xP It also had LittlePigBlanket at October which made the PS3 actually worth buying.

I can't remember 2009 that much, I remember Forza 3 but that only came around the end of the year.

2010 was a pretty cool guy year, It had the Pokemon Gold/Silver remakes, some good racing games and whatnot.

Although I think the best would be 2001.
