Ok, so I thought about buying a game or two on Xbox 360 Games on Demand. Does anybody know if the Games on Demand are good? Do they have worse graphics than the games on the disc?

Your first problem is XBox.
You'd probably be better off buying physical copies for much cheaper but Alan Wake is pretty good.
I would only look at GoD if you were getting Xbox originals (not 360 games) and even then you could probably find it cheaper (and physical copy) off Amazon or eBay*. The graphics should be exactly the same though. Same button commands and everything (just black and white buttons would now be the Bumper triggers).

Oh I wish I could buy real copies, but unfortunately the M rated games are off limits for me and this will be my only hope of getting my hands on Bioshock or World at WarMLYW said:

If you're looking for good story, BioShock, but if you're doing multiplayer, BioShock 2.

Just bought BioShock
I can tell it's going to take forever to download, through the first 30 minutes it's only 20% done

It's probably around 5-8 GB of data to download which is a lot. For me at least with my isp I have a limit of 5 GB a month!
