I for one expect for games like mario party online play and not unlock all characters at once and to easy,which happened with mp9.

More characters and updates with extra game stuff 
Same here i love lots of characters!!!
Less originality.
I feel that there will be more online and less single player/story modes.

Online is good, but the main single-player mode is where some of the best games come out of.
I expect Rosalina to be in more spin-offs =p, Nintendo to concentrate on Wi-fi and Nintendo to surprise us with character rosters. There will hopefully be better graphics and more fun mini-games.

:toad: I mean c'mon, now even he's getting the boot in recent games, he was one of the Original 6 Characters (not counting normal generic enemies, the other 5 are Mario, Bowser, Luigi, Peach and DK)!
And of course, the return of Toadette.
And a new, better storyline, with the return of old villains as well like Wart or Tatanga.

Definitely more emphasis on online play, which worries me because I'd rather play with actual friends (that are right next to me) than asshole hackers from Asia. It also worries me because the games might downplay storyline.
More attention to graphics and online play and gore and shooting and way WAY less attention to originality, gameplay, story, character development, single player modes, multiplayer, pretty much everything that makes a game good.
Maybe new mainstream characters?
Everything Plum said is true... Great games are hard to find. I mean COD is a good game but it's not as good as people think. Some people like how it looks and not what the gameplay is about. Originality is also hard to find.
Better online.
