Mario Kart Wii, because of the improved tracks and challenging ones like Rainbow Road.
I think Mario Kart DS is also great because of mission mode and no-team battle mode.

We all know and love Mario Kart. Which game in the series was best?

Mario Kart 64.
Ah the memories.

Careful MeleeMaster64. Not only that there is already a topic of this, it's in the wrong Board.
I just love Mario Kart Wii it's fun and specially online.
Mario Kart DoubleDash gets the top spot, with Mario Kart DS being a close second.
The tag team kart racing was genious. Even though it's just between different Mario characters, it gives some sort of a cross-over game feel. And I like cross-overs much.
Mario Kart DoubleDash 2 should be in development NAO!

D is my new favorite.Mario Kart Wii. No special reason for it either. I just like it is all.
I think Mario Kart Double Dash, cuz it's really fun. There's a lot of action and I can choose two characters.
I loved Mario Kart: Double Dash because it added a unique gameplay feature having two players instead of one. I think they should make a new Double Dash version for the wii. That would be the greatest, or pretty high up there for entertainment.
My Favourite Mario Kart was Double Dash becasue you were able to have 2 people per kart
Either Mario Kart 64 or Mario Kart Wii. Double Dash comes in a close third. I bought MKS but lost it shortly afterwards so i didn't get to play it. DX
Super Mario Kart was the first one I played. It was so awesome!! I then bought Super Circuit and played that. It wasn't bad. But the funnest one for me is 64 because it was just so simple and fun. The music was awesome and the tracks were great (imo). there were only 8 characters to choose from which I thought was great at the time.
But MK Wii proved that the more racers there are, then the funner, more intense, (and sometimes more frustrating) races can be. The new tracks are pretty good and I like all those new characters you can be.
