Favourite and least favourite Nintendo remake

What is your favourite remake from Nintendo? I liked the DS remakes of SM64 and DKR but I still liked the original versions. The GBA remakes of SMB 1, 2 and 3 and SMW 1 and 2 were pretty good too but not my favourite.

I don't like how they get rid of some things in games that make it worser than the original like in DKRDS, they changed the music and Taj's voice.

Gonna go with a game I never played the original.

Donkey Kong's Jungle Beat. Why? Because it's pretty fun using the wiimote and nunchuck. Being able to move around with the analog is very nice. I've never played using the Bongo's, but can't imagine it being as good trying to easily move left right and all around hitting drums, without getting all tired with it.

But then again, never tried it, could try it in the future and realize its the only way to play. :D And I'm sure some really like it with the bongos.

Worst: Probably Diddy Kong Racing DS, even though it had additional features.

That's exactly the remake I played that I was going to say that was the worst.

As for BEST remake...I've really got no clue.

I hated Super Mario All-Stars because they took everything out of the original games like cheats, glitches, secrets, etc.

I liked every single Mario Advance game, with exception to SMB2.

That wasn't Stop 'n' Swap correctly :p (nor was it a Nintendo Remake)

Favorite Remake might be Super Mario 64 DS or Metroid Zero Mission.

Least Favorite would be Diddy Kong Racing DS.

It's pretty hard to hinder a game worse in a remake, but that one sure did. It's still fun until you have to use Hovercarts (which is even harder than the original to control).

Yea I have no clue what the fuck they did to the hovercarts in DKRDS, like in the original version I use my little hovercraft trick of going back and forth but God knows how to drive one in DKRDS.

Just everything they tried to change up from performance parts to Taj's British voice from the Indian one made it a less enjoyable experience.
