Toadette and Toadsworth are tied for me because I like the Toad characters. Toadette's been gone for so long, I never expected her to come back so suddenly. Toadsworth I kinda expected for the next Mario and Luigi since he's been in all of them. They both have their charms.

Umm... Toadette's last known appearance was in Mario Super Sluggers back in August 25, 2008. And 2008 was 5 years ago, same time as Mario Party Legacy debuted.

For me it's getting to play as Princess Peach in a mainline Mario platformer again.

It's been 25 YEARS since she was treated like one of the guys in SMB2/USA and not the damsel.

Then seeing Dixie playable again in a DKC game, it's been 17 years, that's CRAZY!

It's also great to see that Toadette has returned to her home series in Mario Kart, although 5 years is hardly as long a wait as 17 or 25, but at least we now know they haven't killed her off! Hopefully she returns to some of the other series as well now.

This is kinda a nice turnaround for female Nintendo characters, coincidence? Or might we see the option to play through a future Zelda as... Zelda?

Mega Man is getting a lot of lovingly crafted respect by Sakurai in Smash Bros., but do we believe Capcom will keep up the trend after SSB4? This could be his last great moment for some time. :/
