I like Em's old shit, Encore was his last good thing to me. Curtain Call or whatever was eh and then he decided to retire or w/e and shit went south. His new album isnt terrible, its ight I guess.

Relapse was a masterpiece, and Cook's age reflects that Encore bit; especially if the notion is Encore > Relapse.
I thought Relapse was pretty solid. I haven't listened to anything off Rehab besides the mainstream singles. I'll agree with Aegis that Not Afraid was pretty bad. Love the Way You Lie was good though. My friend & her brother did a pretty cool cover of that.

Encore was my 5th grade rockin lol, before that I think my sister had Eminem Show and listened to it and I knew who Eminem was and stuf but Encore made me really like him cause I could actually appreciate music better by then, somewhat.
Eminem is my favorite.
But with all that being said, Relapse is easily my favorite. Eminem Show was mainstream in it's own way (with it still being Eminem), Encore was mainstream (with testing the limits of the mainstream Plus drugs), and Recovery is just straight mainstream with (off the top of my head) 2 Dre produced songs? Not saying they're all bad (Eminem Show for that Elementary rockin) and Recovery has it's ones that radio didn't play
But point being Relapse be that s*** (for what I prefer).

Why do you like Relapse so much?
It's coherent and that's the type of album that I like. You can just sit back and hear it as a movie. Track for track like scenes in a movie. Not that many albums go that route (or coincidently do it) though I don't believe the coincidently part because they put their tracks in a certain order for a reason.
Relapse was horrible.
