Favorite Nintendo Controller?

I would have to say the GameCube controller. Comfortable, has a decent amount of buttons, and they are placed in right spots.

The GameCube controller has all the buttons within easy reach. It was very nice and comfortable, too, with not too many buttons and not too little.
Best control stick out of them all as well.

BTW - why aren't any of the additional controllers here? (like Wii Classic Controller Pro and WiiU Pro Controller)

Yeah, the GCN controller. It's really nice and it fits well in my hands. Nintendo 64 is nice as well, but the left part of the controller I rarely used. The Wii Remote (+ Nunchuk) was fine, but most of the time, I used the Wii Remote alone, sideways. The Wii U GamePad is still great, fits in the hands well.

Never tried out the NES controller and the SNES controller. GCN is my favorite overall.

Added those two. I'll consider things like the Zapper, Motion Plus, and the Wheel as accessories.

Never used the Wii Classic Controller Pro.

For the Wii U Pro Controller, I got that for Christmas, but I still have not yet opened it. Planning to use it soon when I buy games off from the Wii U eShop or games that support it.

The Gamecube controller, more specifically the Wavebird, was the best-structured controller by Nintendo. As Yoshiman said, the buttons are all within reach and it's very comfortable in the hands. Not too many or too little buttons. Plus, it has the wi-fi so I don't have to huddle near my Gamecube or pulling down my Wii.

The gamecube controller is the best imo, whenever I have the chance to play with it on the Wii, I'll use it. I highly dislike the Wii's remote controls. It's also easier to use a button on the GC control than on any other I have tried. I also feel more confortable using it.

Yeah I enjoyed the GameCube one as well, the buttons are close and easy enough to remember where they all are, the 64 was too big, and I never was too fond of the Wii remote.

Either the NES GamePad or Wii Classic Controller Pro.

The GameCube controller, it fit nicely in my big hands and I always used it over the Classic Controller.

The Nintendo GameCube Controller is the best controller. It has the right size and the buttons are easy to notice.
